Tour Striker 8 Iron Training Aid
Bought a Tour Striker with big expectations. It came with no directions on how to use it. I called customer service at Dick's and the rep said the description makes no mention of a user's manual being included with the product. Can you say "refund"?

Only worthwhile training aid I ever got
For years I was never able to break my chicken wing. With this club, not only do you have to hit it correctly to get the ball to go, the shape forces your brain to want to hit it corrrectly. And once you get rid of the chicken wing, you find that the ball goes far with less effort improving accuracy. The only training aid I've ever bought that was worth the money. The DVD is excellent too.

Tour Striker - Finally hit it solid!
This is my first product review. I'm a 10 handicapper, but usually find myself struggling to put together a solid round. I bought the Tour Striker with a gift card from Dick's. I was skeptical . . . . mainly because of the way the club looks! I figured I would NEVER be able to hit it! When it came, I watched the video first (which I HIGHLY recommend!) The video has a lot more golf instruction than just how to hit the club. The Martin Chuck video is almost worth the cost itself! I took it to the range. Honestly, it took me about 10 minutes to start hitting it reasonably well. But within about 30 minutes I was crushing it! I think it is about an 8 iron, but with a heavier head. I started hitting soft high draws 145-150. Backing down my swing speed I got even better results! Once you get the hang of it, the ball just EXPLODES with much less swing effort! I can take just the Tour Striker, a wedge and my driver to the range now and get a terrific practice in! My club instructor saw me using it and commented he has one and that it really teaches you how to strike the ball, pinching it against the ground. I don't recommend using this clud to practice chipping . . .even though the concept is the same. The loft and design make it hard to control around the green (for me), but I have used the technique with my regular clubs and now can really check the ball with my sand and lob wedge whereas before they just hit and ran. I have one golf story that I'll share. I was 75 yards out in a relatively soft fairway bunker. Using my 60 degree lob wedge, I made terrific contact and landed the ball next to the pin. Unfortunate for me, my group around the green couldn't believe it when my sand shot hit and spun back about 20 feet! I guess my hands were definitely in front on that shot! I highly recommend this club if you want to finally experience how it feels to strike the ball like a pro!

Tour Striker Training Aid
I happen to work in the golf department for Dick's and it is not my usual mode to endorse products for our customers, however needing help in trying to compress the golf ball I bought the Tour Striker and started using it at home. I cannot be more pleased with the training aid as it has helped me considerably in just a couple of weeks!! The Tour Striker comes with a DVD to assist you with using the aid correctly and is very informative!! I would recommend this product to anyone trying to improve their golf game!!

This is an excellent training aid.
It really does force you to hit down and solid shots. I wish I could say that I had fully mastered it after two weeks on the range....but when I do it will be easily translated to the real clubs. It has already made a notable difference in the consistency of my ball striking.
