Rated 5 out of 5 by sean g Great bat. I've had this bat now for 2 weeks and I'm in love. I don't think I'll use any other bat again. Great control and easy to swing with thin handle. Take some warm up swings first with some weight. Awesome pop and seems to be durable thus far. June 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Randy Very impressed. A very solid bat. Nice sweet spot with a lot of pop to it. Definitely would recommend it. June 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by grant75 Best Quality for the Price This maple bat from Rawlings has served me well as I prepare this summer to make my MLB scouting debut. I've put in some long hours with this bat and so far it doesn't show any signs of fatigue. Love it! Just make sure you tar the handle a little bit because the bat is slippery off of the rack. Rated 1 out of 5 by Mk Bat broke instantly! Spent seventy bucks on this bat. My son batted with it one and it blew in half. I took it back to Dick's to see if it was defective. Store would not have anything to do with it. They said there was nothing they could do. Couldn't afford to lose $70 in 10 seconds. Bat is junk!!! What a waste. June 3, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Burvin 33 Good bat for the money Good bat for the money. I use this for my adult league and I have for a few years. Even with the thin handle it seems pretty durable. May 13, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tim F. Great Stick I've always loved Rawlings/Adirondack Wood BB bats and have had good luck with them. This is modeled after the C243 by Louisville Slugger. It's similar to the C271 except that the bat head is larger. The store had a great selection so I was able to buy a bat with good grain and a light ounce weight so I can still get a fast swing. The sweet part of the bat is really hard and has some great pop to it. It's also a very balanced. If you are interested in this bat it is also Ink dot tested which is used by the MLB to both certify the bat and look for quality control in the direction the ink bleeds (which determines the bats straightness and strength). Another thing I liked was that at the time, the bat was about 35% - 40% cheaper than other stores so it's cost effective for good quality lumber. It's worth it for the price. If you are worried about it breaking but like wood, I would recommend a Bamboo or Wood Composite bat which has warranties that range from 30 days to 150 days. 5 stars might be a bit high but like I said I always had good luck with Rawlings and since this new Dicks Sporting Goods had a big selection, I had the option to be real picky with this model and choose from what I thought was the best for me out of the 50 plus something they had stocked on the floor. Rated 1 out of 5 by doconnell4 Broke within a week I suggest looking elsewhere and spending a little more money on a higher quality bat. I broke it at the batting cages after seeing 10-15 balls. May 6, 2014
