Great Snorkel Set!!!
Bought this set 3 years ago and it is still in great condition!!! I have taken it all over mexico and the carribean. Buy this set !!! It is worth every penny vs. using equipment that is broken and not clean. I have recomended this set to many of my friends and they all have purchased them!!! You cant go wrong with purchasing this set.

Great set!
I actually bought this set at [@] and saved a few bucks. Either way, this is an excellent snorkeling set. As one reviewer stated, he used it and tried to breathe underwater. That is not what a snorkeling set is for. I used this set all throughout the Carribbean and Central America. My girlfriend thought I was making a bad choice buying a set and carrying it with me wherever we went until she rented gear from our snorkeling locations. She finally broke down and asked to use mine. By the time we got back, she couldn't wait to get her own set. A word to the wise, get a set with a bag if you don't buy this set but you won't be disappointed if you buy the Sport! Getting ready to take my set to Hawaii and now my girl has her own Aqua Lung!

A "snorkeling set" not an aqua lung !
The brand name is "Aqua Lung", which should NOT be confused with nor imply that it should be used as a "Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus", which the previous reviewer noted he did: "every single time I try to breath with it under water my lungs literally fill up with aupa, (water that is) I have almost drowned 3 times so far when using this product with my bar bells, (also purchased from Dicks) in the deep end!" What??? You tried to breathe air while underwater and out of the surface-reach of the snorkel. Wow... stupid human tricks never cease to amuse me. Whether that reviewer is serious or being silly, Dicks needs to remove that erroneous 2-star review. Granted, faces and heads come in all sizes, so a mask should be tried-on prior to purchase. Nonetheless, the product works just fine for snorkeling and skin diving. The mask fitted me and works well as long as you remember the basics of equalizing the mask air space (too many people buy a mask and think it doesn't fit properly because as they dive to 6+ft they don't equalize the mask space). The nose pocket is supple and easy to pinch for valsalva equalization. The mask lens is not tempured so it is not recommended for actual scuba use. However, the fins are open water scuba-use quality, as is the snorkel. Yes, put some de-fogger in every mask before use because every mask does have the tendency to fog (gather condensation) without it. Have fun !
