Exerpeutic 400XL Foldable Recumbent Bike
Great so far!
This bike has met all my expectations so far. I still have to figure out what some of the special screen features are all about. I only track how long (minutes) i'm pedaling, but one day i hope to learn the distance, pulse rates, and other features (so far they aren't making sense ... e.g., i know there must be a way to reset my distance with each ride but it seems to just add it to the previous rides' distances). The fold-up option is what interested me in this bike since space is an issue. It's also light enough for us to move to another room if we need space in the bedroom for guests.

This bike works great for what I wanted it for. It is extremely quite, making it easy to watch TV or listen to music while riding it. It also has quite a few resistance levels so it always provides a challenge. The only negative so far is that the display isn't accurate. The timer and speed work great, but the distance and calories never reset (so they show the total from the first time I ever rode the bike), and the calorie count is extremely unrealistic - it says I burn about 100 calories every 5 minutes or so!

I bought this based off of recommendations. Super quiet. Compact. Easy to set up. It doesn't have a huge computer screen/anything really in front of you, which I like. I'm not constantly looking to see if 4 seconds have passed. I play video games and watch tv as I peddle. Can't beat it for the price.

Finally using something I bought!
I have so many pieces of equipment that I do not use because they are so large and in an inconvenient spot that I was very hesitant to buy another. I decided to give it one last shot...And I'm glad I did. It really is easy to move around so it doesn't have to be a constant elephant in the room when we have company or somewhere permanently hidden that I'd be less likely to use it. It's quiet enough to use while watching TV. I'm impressed of how well the tension wheel works. It does everything a more expensive bike does but for a lot cheaper!

Not a clothes rack
I love this bike. I bought it because of the reviews. I needed something to do at night while watching tv besides just sitting there getting fatter. I have used it now for a couple of weeks. It very comfortable and quiet. My husband likes that you can barely hear it.

My wife gave me a lot of grief for not getting a good quality machine and she continued even as I was setting it up (which took about 45 minutes). But I have to tell you that it is very good quality - it is stable, smooth and quiet. As a bonus, I can move it around the house very easily - try that with a big, bulky machine. I get on it planning to do 20 minute interval training while playing X-Box. I almost forget I'm on it and have regularly been spending 35-45 minutes on it.Spend the extra money you save on something to entertain you. I'm actually looking forward to getting on it - and I hate the treadmill!

I love this bike! I had done some research on others but kept returning to this one because no one had anything negative to say! My husband assembled it in less than 30 minutes. I jumped on it and fell in love! Everything about is great: assembly, assembly instructions, small amount of space that it takes up, comfort, ease of the "computer settings," etc. I had fallen in love with a 10 dollar garage sale purchase from 10 years ago. That bike saw me through both knee replacements and I cried when the pedal fell off from stripped threads on a bolt. My husband insisted I invest in something new and I resisted but am now in heaven and very happy that I put my other bargain to rest! The other perk was that even though I "test drove" more expensive models at stores and could NOT test drive this one as it wasn't in stock, I feel this is just as good, if not better, than ones I "rode." This was one gamble that I am very happy to have made! And even though Dick's diod NOT have it the young man who was at the store very kindly ordered it for me making the purchase painless...Walmart lost the sale because their store clerk told me to "go home & get on my own computer." Dicks made up the difference in Walmart's price and theirs (about 20 dollars) by shipping it for less to my home. They won my admiration, respect & loyalty!

I am pleasantly surprised by how happy I am with this purchase. I purchased this recumbent bike to replace my deceased treadmill.
it takes up less space than the treadmill
it isn't electric, the computer runs with batteries so it doesn't need to be near an outlet
the seat is comfortable
it was easy to assemble - took two people about 30 minutes
I'm 5' 8" and I use this on the highest setting, suggested for the maximum user height of 6'2". If you're over 6 feet, I suggest looking for another product.
