Do not buy this The strap tore the first time I wore it! Not the first time a shock doctor knee brace failed to last more than a few workouts. April 2, 2013
Excelled at it's intended purpose! I had knee surgery in the fall of 2012 to repair a split minucus (torn cartilage) and was very afraid to excert any twisting forces on it. After searching many places online, Dick's Sporting Goods was the only place in town with the highest quality I was searching for. The first one I bought was too small (there was not anything there to measure the area for size and fit) On return to the store, it was easy to exchange for the larger product. It fits snug and is easily adjustable with the strap system. I worked on a dirt mover machine to level my yard and lay new sod. This machine could twist the body at the waist and knees violently at times. After almost four hours of continuse use, my knee was not in any pain at all. As for laying the sod there was no pain at all. I have a new found respect for the landscapers that do it for a living! What a great product and any time I need to utilize it in the future, I will have great confidence in its performance and security for my knee. March 28, 2013
Solid Knee Brace I use this brace during my P90X Plyometrics (jump training) and Kempo X training sessions for additional support for my surgically repaired left knee. The brace provides the support I need and tends to stay in place during the workout sessions. The brace has a slight tendency to pinch the back of my knee from time to time, but I think it will get better as a break it in a bit more. I would suggest this product for anyone who needs serious support to their left or right knee. March 25, 2013
Made a difference My son had a cheaper knee brace and it didn't last. This one looked like a better quality - and it was. My son said it really made a difference when he wore it and that it was comfortable. We've only had it about six weeks, but it seems to be holding together really well. He's worn it for basketball and baseball. March 20, 2013
Solid knee brace Gives a lot of support and does not limit mobility too much. It was just what I was needing after spraining my knee. I used it everyday for about 2 weeks and even was able to work out in it. Great product. March 12, 2013
I like product but... The product seems good other than the fact that the whole purpose of a knee brace is to help support that joint, possibly I bought a size too big but when trying them on the next size lower, i was unable to pull over my calf, so it does not feel tight around my knee. Also, the Velcro straps seem to be a problem on the back of my knee when it bends and seems to cut into my skin. its a bit bulky but if it was as thin as skin probably wouldnt get the right support. GREAT PRODUCT!! i I have wore several knee braces thru the years. this one is very comfotable but stiil the great support is there. good desing allows sweat to escape. cant wait for golf season. January 23, 2013
Excellent Product - Take Care Slipping On or Off Have a young pitcher that developed tendinititis in the knee of her stride leg as a result of a none pitching injury. This product helped in expediting the healing of her knee due to the support and protection given to the knee and patella area. The only issue with this (and products of this nature) is the "doughnut" around the knee cap area. It can easily be strecthed beyound it's limits and torn if care is not taken when slipping Stabilzer on and removing it. This is easily corrected by not using the hole created by the "doughnut" as a grip area to pull Stabilzer on or off. January 15, 2013
Second class product. Not as good as a simular product manufactured by Mueller which is a wrap-around so you can adjust the tension. Open area around knee cap is to bulky with a small opening. November 14, 2012
