Offers lots of support
I used this after a knee sprain and it worked great. It offered lots of support with ease in getting on and off. Way better than using the braces supplied by the hospitals. Plus now I will be able to use it when I return to sports. Only problem was when worn for an extended period of time it began to irritate my skin.

Shock Doctor Knee brace with hinges.
Pleased that I got through a 5k road race and credit the knee braces for doing that relatively pain free. Gonna exchange one of the braces because the knee cap hole has became unsewn.

good knee brace
worked well with support but it does bunch up in the back of the knee which is a pain with most knee braces including this one.
having said that, good stabilization of the knee cap and sides of the knee have good support, easy to get on and off

These bad boys rock!
I just purchased two of these after severely twisting both knees during a recent ski trip to Utah. Two weeks later these braces enabled me to run 5 miles in the Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh N.C. without additional injury, however they were no help in downing a dozen donuts at the half way point. Additionally, I am skiing now a month after the injury. Although I am about 90% recovered, the Shock Doctors give me the confidence
to ski aggressively without fear of re-injury!

Worth the $50 for sure
This is probably one of the best looking braces and effective I have seen and worn.
I have torn my ACL twice in the same knee.This has helped me workout with comfort and stability during rehab. What I like about the brace is the hinges are actually in the brace not like most that can be taken out on the sides held by velcro againt the brace.
The ones that come out have a problem, which is when you bend your knee they bow out and defeats the purpose. The shock doctor stays hugged against your knee which gives you that extra stability and also has straps to make it more tight if needed. It isn't bulky as well and doesnt irritate me. It was worth the money for sure. I didnt want to go the cheap route and very happy I bought this.
I curently do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and doesnt seem to hold me back and gives me that extra sense of security that my knee is secure.

What a shock, a quality product.....
Great quality product, helped me work through a runners knee injury like a champ. I would recommend if you have any knee sprain or injury. Smells really bad after just a few uses, You have to hand wash often, but besides that , very good..

Excellent brace, sturdy.
I had a partially torn LCL but didn't want to miss out on the broomball season. (Think hockey with shoes)
This brace was around the middle of the pack as far as price goes, but the material felt like it was durable, and the brace felt well put together.
I've worn it now for about 10 hours of play time, and I must say I'm very impressed. The brace stayed in place even when it got soaking wet from the melted ice, breathed well and didn't chafe. It provided excellent support, and a few times when I took a fall, it prevented my knee from torquing the wrong direction. All this while not being overly restrictive, it hardly felt like I was wearing anything on my knee most of the time.
