This brace LITERALLY keeps me employed!
I am the owner of a cleaning company and for the past 6 months, my knee has begun to give me some real problems. There are mornings when I wake up and I can't put any weight on it. I know my problem starts in my back and I need to return to the chiropractor, but I don't have the time right now. I had been wearing a lycra style brace until a week ago when a friend of mine showed me the Shock Doctor brace that he wore after he injured himself at work. I was definitely ready for a brace that wouldn't slide every time I bent my knee. The Shock Doctor did the trick. It is very stable, sturdy, and rugged. When I clean garden tubs, I'm literally on my knees in the tub and the brace doesn't restrict me at all. There is a slight amount of pain if I wear it too long, but I also understand that many factors go into a brace irritating the skin. I've noticed that some people complain about the smell, but I've gotten the brace wet and I sweat a lot at work and I haven't had a problem with odor. The only downside to this brace is the price. I cringed at paying around $75 with tax, but figure that if the brace keeps me working every day, it's a very small price to pay!

Works Great For Me!
Fits great and gives me the support I need. I have had knee trouble for many years. This is the best brace I have ever used.

Was a lifesaver
I had tweaked my knee a week before a half marathon I was to be running. It was only my cartilage. Bought this brace and ran the half marathon with no pain. Great product and will buy again.

Hard to get off
Over all it works for me, however it is very hard to take off after using it. I play racquetball with it on, I sweat. Maybe it needs some pull-on/pull-off loops?

Absolutely awesome!...
I severly sprained my knee hiking down from the Hollywood sign. My knee was swollen for days, I was in a lot of pain and couldn't bare weight on my knee. My girfriend is a Certified Athletic Tranier out of OSU and we discused what braces were out there and would benefit me most. We came, she came to the conclusion the Shcok Doctor 875 would provide the most suport and while still allowing me to move freely. I found it at Dick's. When I walked into Dick's with my brother, I was limping and walking very gingerly. I tied on the brace and imediately felt stable. I started to walk with it on and pass my brother who was looking at a nearby display. To my amazement and to his disbelief I was walking at normal pace and without limping or favoring my knee. He did a double take and told me he couldn't believe it; neither could I!...The next morning I felt good enough to go back to the gym and work on my upper body. In weeks was able to return to my favorite activities and back to playing baseball without any restrictions. This brace really helped speed up my recovery time and provides the aupport, protection and security I need. I would not dare play without my Shock Doctor 875.Since, I have recommended this brace to two of my friends who suffered knee injuries and they absolutely love it as much as I do.

Best product for rigerous training
Great durability and works well under duress. Keeps a bad knee in place when it counts and does not weigh much....comfortable also which is its best feature save for what it actually does.....

Too good
It's as simple as this, I came in the store with crutches and walked out without so much as a limp. Far more comfortable than the $2000 insurance braces and just as supportive, they are truly amazing. Actually have to take mine off every once in a while to remind myself I'm not healed yet. I strongly recommend the Ultra for torn MCL/ACL injuries.
