Rated 5 out of 5 by Wendy This brace LITERALLY keeps me employed! I am the owner of a cleaning company and for the past 6 months, my knee has begun to give me some real problems. There are mornings when I wake up and I can't put any weight on it. I know my problem starts in my back and I need to return to the chiropractor, but I don't have the time right now. I had been wearing a lycra style brace until a week ago when a friend of mine showed me the Shock Doctor brace that he wore after he injured himself at work. I was definitely ready for a brace that wouldn't slide every time I bent my knee. The Shock Doctor did the trick. It is very stable, sturdy, and rugged. When I clean garden tubs, I'm literally on my knees in the tub and the brace doesn't restrict me at all. There is a slight amount of pain if I wear it too long, but I also understand that many factors go into a brace irritating the skin. I've noticed that some people complain about the smell, but I've gotten the brace wet and I sweat a lot at work and I haven't had a problem with odor. The only downside to this brace is the price. I cringed at paying around $75 with tax, but figure that if the brace keeps me working every day, it's a very small price to pay! May 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eltoro Works Great For Me! Fits great and gives me the support I need. I have had knee trouble for many years. This is the best brace I have ever used. May 22, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Patrick Well designed, cool, comfortable I had ACL replacement & cartilige repair several years ago, I now wear this brace as a preventative measure. Recently I've started wearing one on my other knee, since it's been giving me problems, and it helps there too. It's comfortable and doesn't get too warm. The only drawback for me is removal & reinsertion of the hinges for washing - it's difficult to do so. May 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by LakeCountyPaddler Most Support I've Ever Experienced in a Brace I badly "wrenched" my one knee playing paddle tennis - which, like basketball, has lots of quick direction changes and hard stops that can be hard on the knees. This was one of three knee braces I bought so that I could have different models for practice and workouts versus match play. This one is the heavy-duty option for maximum protection during workouts. This has the quality you'd expect for a pro football player to use. Well constructed and comfortable. My thigh at the location where the top edge of the support brace comes to is 22 inches, and the large size fits very snuggly - might consider sizing up? November 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Phyrflyy5 Perfect for my needs This knee brace was exactly what I needed after a MCL injury. The only negative was the back of the brace pinches my meniscus area. I bought the correct size according to measurements on the box. Even after the swelling went down that area is still a problem when lifting or running March 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Run in the Sun Shocking Knee Support I purchased the Shock Doctor Ultra Knee Support With Bilateral Hinges to improve the support around my knee since I run to keep in shape. The knee support provided a sock like feel and the straps provide the secure hold so I do not have to periodically stop and readjust the straps. I have really enjoyed the knee support and it was definitely a smart buy. May 22, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by mom saved his football season My son had a small but significant knee injury and wanted to continue to play this year. The sales guy was great, directed me to the braces and explained how (well) they worked. Worth the $. October 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by scd96 Comfortable Knee Protection I bought two of these for my son, who plays football. He had a knee injury a few years ago due to football, and wanted a little reassurance that he wouldn't hyper-extend his knee(s) again while tackling. So far, so good. He seems to enjoy the product; it feels comfortable, it's easy to move & run in, and it offers a little piece of mind to him that he will have some added protection from below the knee blocks from other linemen. The knee supports are a little pricey, but when factored in that you may be saving some extensive knee problems; i.e. doctor visits, hospital, etc, a little extra cost might save some serious problems down the line.
