Overall good Lock We actually bought this bike lock for our inversion table. We have 2 little kids that we wanted to protect from flipping upside down. I love the "word" lock. The letters have to be lined up perfectly in order for the lock to work right and sometimes the last letter has to be wiggled a little for the lock to work. Its not too big of a hassle, but just enough to score a 4 out of 5. April 3, 2013
reliable bike lock I like this bike lock cable system for its user friendly ability to change the combination to just about any 4 digit word you can think of. Though I thought of a few words that I wanted to use and the combo wasn't able to key them in, I was still able to eventually come up w/ one that I could use that is unique and easy for me to remember. The light weight of this lock is also nice, as it fits in a small bag mounted underneath my seat. Plus, there's still room left for some small tools and such. February 7, 2013
Worthless! This bike lock never worked. Maybe we just got a bad one, but it was very frustrating. Followed instructions and tried multiple times. Returned it for refund. October 17, 2012
A nice change It is a nice change to the classic bike lock October 16, 2012
Good Product I bought this lock the day I got my new bike expecting it to be long enough for me and my Fiance's bikes. Thing is it isn't longenough for 2 bikes. It works excellent when only securing 1 bike but if you are trying to lock more than one you might consider getting a longer lock. Other than that this is great, we enjoy the word lock combo, the size for storage when traveling around is also a plus. July 23, 2012
Easy to set Setting a combination was easy, but the available letters limit you to words that are too easy for someone to guess if they want to steal from you. You can't make new words. I have not actually needed to lock my bike yet so I cannot comment on how effective it performs. July 9, 2012
Concept good, needs tweeking I liked the lock, it was easy to set and use. The one comment I'd like to make is that the words you can make are very limited. For that reason I didn't like it as much because none of the words the lock would form where ones I wanted to use for my combo. June 15, 2012
Cable bike locks We bought these two cable bike locks for our son and daughter-in-law, for his birthday, for them to use on their newly-purchased trail bikes. One red (NCSU), one blue (UNC, although it's more a Dook blue). The length of the cable and the apparent security were the main selling points. They like their cables very much June 12, 2012
Good lock - great idea It took a bit to understand how to create your own word-lock, a little frustrating - but once you do, this is a great lock. April 9, 2012
