I honestly feel like I stole this pack at the price I got it for. I particularly like the side pockets. The sleeves have a velcro at the bottom allowing you to insert something all the way through to the mesh side pockets(which are also big enough for a Nalgene). I keep my trekking poles on one side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sal Great pack, versatile
This is an awesome backpack, and most would agree this is Kelty's most versatile pack. Whether you need it for travel or backpacking it does an awesome job. I bought this for my girlfriend to use for a 2 night 3 day treck in the Pennsylvania wilderness and it was perfect (could definitely be used for a longer trip if you pack carefully). This is a great alternative to your usual huge backpacking packs, it's low profile but has all the features you want in a backpacking pack. Definitly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Packman Very nice pack
This pack is very easy to manage and is comfortable. Roomy main interior and easy zip side pockets. The material is well made and seems like it will last. I have not taken it for a long trip but it was more than enough room for a night. Another back pocket would make this pack a little better but I think it is very good as is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ARM Great features, great deal
Plenty of storage compartments. Good size for day pack or travel. Unfortunately it was received with a zipper pull cord missing, easy to replace.

I got this for my husband, and he was thrilled with it. He stuffed it full of everything anyone could ever need in any emergency situation, with room to spare. He was a big fan of all the loops to hook things on to. It's not a SERIOUS hiking back pack maybe, but it's a superb all around, ready for anything pack. It also looks really great. Excellent quality.

I actually did not purchase this pack for outdoor activities. I bought it to carry all my CrossFit gear. I leave the house between 7 and 8 am every day and don't get home until after 8 pm. I needed something large enough for multiple pairs of shoes, workout clothing, lunch, snacks, misc gear, etc, but small enough to not get in the way like the giant duffel this pack was replacing. The idea of using a pack always appealed to me because it keeps both hands free. This thing is amazing. It holds everything I need. Lots of pockets. I love the mesh saddles for wet items. This pack will adjust to just about any body size and configuration you need and the rigid frame really helps keep the weight distributed. The pack stays square if you are carrying it on one shoulder and doesn't roll or flop around like your old school pack. Worth every penny.

Love this backpack. Didn't need a lot of bells and whistles, didn't want a book backpack, or a laptop backpack, but didn't need a true hiking pack either. Wanted something to use for weekend trips, and various travel sports tournaments events we attend with our children. This fits the bill. Nice pockets for organizing, nice quality and holds everything he needs for the weekend. This was a good purchase for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by stumble bum big enough, fits me
Bought the pack for 1-2 night backpack trips. Big enough for that, everything fits but do need a smaller campstove if I need spare clothing. Everything adjusts well, I am 5"11 and too heavy

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gate City Fireman 330 Good pack for the money
Took a group of Boy Scouts on a 10 mile overnight backpacking trip. I had the pack loaded to 32 lbs at the start of the trip. And at 3 miles in one of the Scouts had problems. I ended loading to 39 lbs when we divided his gear to lighten his load till he could make the rest of the trip. The pack was still comfortable and performed flawless. With the equipment i carry all of the different pockets makes storage easy. For my hight, 5'10" it fit my back well. The trail we took was moderate to difficult rated. From Gracen Highlands park to the top of Mt. Rogers, highest point in Va. and back. I would recommend this pack.
