Very comfort, not so much support
It is not like the one with steels inside, so very soft,
you can still do what ever you want, almost no limitation.

Tennis sufferers take notice!
I aggravated my lower back playing tennis, and it appeared as though I was going to be out of action for a few weeks. I decided to give the Shock Doctor support a try, and it far exceeded my expectations. My injury was at the base of my lower back, so I secured the brace about half above my beltline and half below my beltline. This provided perfect support while not inhibiting any breathing, movement or creating any stomach discomfort. I anticipate wearing this brace often for tennis and any lifting jobs around the house.

Good Product
Hurt lower back bad and decided to purchase this back support to encourage healing. It certainly helps keep everything aligned and prevents additional injury. I wore most of the day walking, driving and even sleeping a couple of nights when I was still in acute pain. Back injuries take a long time to heal and I believe this really sped up the healing process by preventing accidental torquing of my lower back. I'll keep wearing this when I feel a tinge of back pain for additional support. I have a 38" waist and purchased the L/XL and it works out well. It did stretch some. It also is fairly easy to use the two side panels to get support where you might need it for your specific injury/pain. Overall a good purchase!

Quality product
I suffered from back problems throughout my 20s and underwent sucessful surgery in my early 30s. I aggravated my condition playing racquetball in my 50s. Now in retirement I've often been experiencing moderate to severe back pain. Buying something to give me extra support whenever fishing or gardening became essential. I bought The Shock Doctor for added back support, not with the expectation that it would eliminate my pain. And the Shock Doctor does what it promises. A long day trout fishing or a few hours gardening are made much more bearable when I wear it. I was really pleased with its construction. The materials are first-rate. The multiple adjustment straps allow you to fine-tune a comfortable fit. I cannot rate its effectiveness in relieving everyone's back problems since back ailment is different for each sufferer. I've only owned mine for a short time and cannot accurately rate its durability, but based on the quality of the product, I expect it to last a long time. My waste size is 36+ and the large I bought is nearly too small. Instead of buying an extra-large I plan to improve my physical condition and lose a few pounds. Then the large should fit me perfectly!

Great for Golf!!
I purchased this to wear while playing golf. Gives great support and allows me to play w/o any back pain. I have a pinched nerve and this really made me forget the pain. Worth the price!!
