knee support
It comes ready to velcro on either direction. The velcro side on my skin irritates my skin, and hurts. Wish one end did not have velcro on it. And that end would rest on my skin.

Didn't work for me
I had just found out that I have patellar tendinitis a week and half before the half marathon. I purchased this strap to keep my knee cap in place while running and it did not help at all. I ended up running without it. I know other people that sware by this band so it definitely works for some people...just not for me.

Great Value & Quality
I bought the Shock Doctor Knee/Patella Support Strap for my son who is a catcher and due to growing so quickly was having a lot of pain in his knees. The support strap seemed to help support his knee while catching numerous games in one day. He doesn't complain with knee pain anymore but do to the usage of the knees we still ice them at the end of the day. It has a great design and quality!

Good stuff
High quality, good price, and most importantly - WORKS LIKE A CHARM! It really helped remove nearly all pain in my knee while playing basketball. It was a life saver really.

Great product so far.
I bought this item for my boyfriend who had ACL surgery and meniscal repair back in July 2012. He is currently rehabilitated and has been discharged from physical therapy. Currently, eight and a half months later, he is playing basketball with a league and wears this knee support to guard his patellar tendon. With the padding being there, it provides comfort in the case of bumping knees with players on the court, as well as somewhat of a stabilizer for the knee. Also, it wears comfortably and doesn't obstruct movement. He has only been using it for just over a month, so durability is yet to be determined.

Good not great
Patella support was good for stability but it was not as helpful as kinestic tape for tendinitis.
Once the inflammation declined the patella support was helpful for support for exercise .

Nice
I have had pain in the patella in both legs for about a month. I came across this strap and do not go as day without wearing it. Definately helps throughout the work day and especially when running. The store only carries s/m, so if a larger size is needed, I recommend just purchasing off the website. Best quality of the options. It's worth the extra 6$

I can run with no pain!
I am so glad I purchased this product. I normally can not walk very far with out my knee giving me a lot of trouble, but with the support strap I can even run! I will be using it when I exercise from now on.
