Needs solid rubber base. The base has to be filled with sand or water so it doesn't get knocked over. If base was made out of a thick rubber it would give it some weight and would last longer than a plastic base. April 4, 2012
Cheap My son broke the tee in his 3rd swing. March 31, 2012
Piece of junk This was an in store purchase. My son 14 years old, attempted to assemble the tee. He was unsuccessful. It three painful hours to try and disassemble the tee so that it could be reassembled correctly. We finally got the tee together and went to the field. First, it is a pain to adjust the height. The little button has to be pressed fully inward at each level of adjustment. Second, the rubber tee top flew off and had to be replaced after each swing. Third, fifteen swings into our practice the top of the tee broke. The cheap plastic shattered and a large chunk flew off. I did not mention the fact that the tee base had to be filled with water or sand also a pain. I would most certainly NOT recommend this tee to ANYONE!!!! March 24, 2012
Broken 3rd time used We were happy with this product the first couple of times we used it. I thought the spring would help make this tee last longer. However, the 3rd time we used it, an 8 year old swung low and the platic part broke in half. Now it is useless. March 22, 2012
breaks easy I was a little leary of buying a low priced tee but I Bought this because they claimed the spring at the bottom would keep the shaft from breaking not true shaft is very thin cheap plastic and broke after the second day we used it. Will be returning it and buying the one I should have in the begining. March 15, 2012
Broke first time we hit. We bought this tee, because of the spring and the power of my little leaguer. On the first swing it shattered into two pieces and flipped back and hit him in the head! The ball flew off the tee, problem was it was in two pieces. Just took it back and bought a better one. March 11, 2012
Plastic bracket and base are horrible!!! I just bought this yesterday for my son's first year of tee ball. I tried to put it together this morning and I cannot even attach the tee to the base because the plastic fingers that are supposed to come up through the holes in the base to attach the tee are not long enough. This shows poor craftsmanship and bad quality. It is ashamed because I chose this one because it looked really good in the store. It will be going back and I will avoid all others by the manufacturer. AVOID!! March 10, 2012
broke on first day of use got for my son to learn on before the season starts hit the tee and broke bottom pipe.called the number on assembly directions sent one right out so far so good with this part March 9, 2012
Broken in one day My son broke the tee during the first day. Hit the stem and shattered it. Looked good, reviews were good, my experience not so good. Will try to fix with PVC or metal pipe. Good luck. February 29, 2012
