Rated 4.1 out of 5áby 40 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5áby good bag As always Marmot makes a great bag, only down fall is for guys with big shoulders it won't fit..... but my boy loves it...... August 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Nice bag for the price I purchased the "long" version of this at my local Dick's. At first I was surprised to see the price $80 for what I consider a pretty good outdoor gear company. I've looked at other summer weight bags and for a similar item the pricing is usually double. I know there are different fillers, fabrics, etc, that affect the price point, but the fact it was a Marmot, I knew the quality is typically above average. I own a few Marmot clothing and outdoor items, and felt that Marmot is a good quality and value. I used this bag for an extended 5 day weekend kayak camping trip in northern Michigan. The temps dropped into the low 50's at night. I've been looking for a summer weight bag because my go-to bag is overkill on weight and bulk for milder temps. It cut in half the packing size from my other bag, which I appreciated in my kayak. I used this bag to sleep in a hammock and appreciated the slim profile and the longer length. I'm 6'2" and broad shouldered, 210 lbs. I didn't have any problem pulling the bag up and over my shoulders/head with room to spare. Plus, I put a camp pillow in the hood. On the last night it was warmer and I just used the bag on top of me like a blanket. on the cooler nights I also wore capilene to bed. If one was using this bag in a tent I can see where the extra slim profile would be confining and tough to move around. For my hammock experience you're sort of cradled, streamlined by default and I wasn't moving around much. The foot box is small, but again it wasn't a problem in my hammock. For packing it comes with a nice stuff sack and I ended up stuffing the bag into a roll-top dry bag and I reused the stuff sack to pack my hammock with bug guard. After reading some previous reviews on this site, I inspected the zippers and stitching and found them to be consistent and no visible flaws. Some say the zippers catch and I've not owned a bag where the zippers didn't get caught from time-to-time, but over 5 days I didn't have a problem. I'm looking forward to seeing how many seasons I'll get out of this bag. August 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby No complaints Have not used in cold weather, but no complains with this product. It folds to a small size very easily. July 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5áby Great bag for the money I am 6' tall and 240 Lbs. The bag was plenty long, but quite narrow for me. If you like a snug bag, it is ok. My son is 6' and 170 Lbs and he can't zip up the bag because it makes him feel claustrophobic. The zipper draft guard is nice, but it is made of the same soft liner material as the rest of the bag which gets stuck in the zipper every 12 inches opening or closing. A stiffer material close to the zipper would be smarter. It kept us warm at 45 degrees in the Tetons so that is what matters. It was a good cheap bag. July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great sleeping bag. Excellent sleeping bag. Was just what our son was looking for and he said it was great for camping. July 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great warm weather sleeping bag The sleeping bag was used right away it was a good bag light for. Backpacking July 8, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5áby Small Compact and lightweight. But The bag is way small. I'm 5'8" and 200lbs. I couldn't get the bag to zip past my chest. There was at least a three inch gap at my shoulders. June 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby lighweight lightweight and small, easy to pack in the backpack. June 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Good Bag Tried it on a four day Adirondack trip. Small enough for kayaking, light enough for hiking. Was comfortable but can become twisted during sleep. Good to about 45 degrees. June 24, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5áby Not so impressed with how cold I was in 50' temperatures! It is lightweight and very small making it easy to pack but it was extremely hard to sleep in and it didn't keep me warm at even 50' temperatures. June 11, 2014
