Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Nice scope but useless Went in to have it mounted and Dicks didn't have the hardware. So I went to Dunham sports and bought it. Then they didn't have a working bore sight. Hey it LOOKS GOOD! January 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Scope The scope was easy to mount and provides easy and accurate target sighting. December 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Scope The scope has good features and has a clear view, even in low light. I mounted it on my shotgun and sighted it in. I am getting three shot groups at 50 yds. that touch. It is an excellent addition to my firearm. December 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent scope Nikon optics are great, I will not ever buy another brand and have owned them all. November 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Clear optics, easy to sight in Since this was mail order vs in store purchase I did not have it bore sighted prior to actually sighting the scope in to my gun. I started at 25 yds to get an idea how it was shooting. I was 3" left 2 1/2" low on two shots. Made the necessary adjustments and within 3 shots grouping in the bullseye. Moved to 50 yards as recommended, shot 3" high 3"left. Made the adjustments, dead on. Without bore sighting figure on at least 20 shells to sight in, after sighting in the scope was very consistant. I really like the clarity that Nikon optics offer. This should make a great deer scope, looking forward to season. November 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by It is one of the best scopes I have ever owned. Clear, good value, would recommend it to any hunter. September 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best bang for you buck! This scope is just plain awesome. clarity, bdc, and price make this an easy decision. December 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by nikon slug hunter with bdc What more can I say about this scope, great price and quality!!! Was never a huge NIKON fan until I install a prostaff 4x9x40 on my muzzleloader. I immediately enjoyed using the bdc recticles, they really take out the guess work. So when its time to purchase a new scope for my slug gun, I didn't hesitate in purchasing the slug hunter with bdc for my gun. I absolutely love it. November 13, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by 2nd time a charm? I bought this scope with the thought that since it is a name brand, much success in the field of optics has come its way. However, when I used their product, I had to return the first one because the crosshairs did not adjust when either of adjustment dials were turned. After the salesman I bought it from looked at it so as to confirm my reason for the return, Dick's Sporting Good's replaced it on the spot. My second scope adjusts, but spiratically. Approximately a third of normal movement every fourth or fifth click, with the first three or four clicks doing nothing. I was able to get it sighted in, but probably wont buy a Nikon again. With the excellent treatment that I received at Dick's I will probably be a regular customer there. If only Nikon were as good at making products as Dicks is at serving their customers. Rated 5 out of 5 by This scope is a natural born killer! The Nikon proStaff slug hunter scope has been the best scope I have used on a shotgun in my 14 years of hunting. I use this product on both a Remington 870 20 gauge that I have dialed in at 250 yards. An I have another one on my mosseburg 500, 12 gauge. An it currently dialed in at 220 yards. Now I don't shoot those distances but anything up to 150 yards that is shot by looking through the Nikon proStaff slug hunter is down. The great thing about the scope are the bcc reticles in it the circles help out tremendously. It fast an easy to sight in right out of the box I was on paper only 4inches away from the bullseye at 50 yards. Now the only thing I don't like is my magnification is a little tough to twist sometimes. An another thing it sad when a feller comes in looking for a good scope an they don't even display that Nikon scope I had to tell the employee that they were in the back an he looked at me like how do u know more than me.lol needless to say I made a sale for u guys that day an I think I deserve a discount or something. Thanks team backwoods. October 22, 2012
