The Kershaw ® Leek Folding Knife is stainless Steel with DLC coating. Anodized aluminum constructs the handle. Leek Knife features a 3 inch blade, 4 inches when closed, and weighs 3 ounces. There is a limited lifetime warranty on this product.

DIRECTIONS:

  • TO OPEN Slide the Safety Tip Lock (located on the back of the handle just below the lanyard hole) forward to unlock. Grasp the handle with your index finger resting on the index-finger protrusion. Gently apply a moderate amount of backward pressure to the protrusion, and the SpeedSafe® system will fully deploy and lock the blade into place.


  • TO CLOSE From the spine side, grasp the blade between your thumb and fingers, making sure not to make contact with the extremely sharp edge. With your other hand, hold the handle and gently press the frame lock to the left and guide the blade back into the handle.

A fine example of American Quality I own several of these KERSHAW knives, it is my go to every day carry knife, I like the way they feel in my hand. The assisted opening spring is very snappy, so hang on. When you flip the blade it opens with a solid click and locks open very well. The blade is very sharp and the weight of the knife is just right for me. The one distraction of the knife is the KERSHAW written in big letters on the side of the knife (I like the smaller emblem they put on some of these knives). The other thing I do not like is the fact that KERSHAW has removed the month and year of manufacture that was stamped on the blade. This knife is easy to sharpen, but take care if you drop it on a hard surface, the blade is quite easy to break. Despite all of the negatives I mentioned, I keep on purchasing this knife because I just like this KERSHAW. In the end, for around $50.00 you can own a very useful tool that is MADE IN THE USA. Great Knife I have owned a lot of different knifes and had a lot of different experiences. Kershaw by far is the best knife you can buy for a reasonable prices. There are some better knifes out there, but for the price you cannot beat it! I highly recommend Kershaw knife. September 10, 2012

Great Pocket Knife I bought this knife because I was tired of buying cheap knives that would quickly dull or fall apart. I have been using this knife now for more than a month. I live and work in Afghanistan, so having such a handy device in the pocket is a must. So far the knife remains sharp and the clip keeps it securely in my pocket. Since this knife has a spring assist to open the blade, I really like the added feature of the lock that prevents the knife from opening up in my pocket. July 23, 2012
