Rated 5 out of 5 by oldcorps116 killin machine
i bought this setup in february of 2012, and used it to hunt deer in 2012 and so far in 2013. it is a killin machine. you need to tighten the screws on it once in awhile and shoot a target to make sure she is still in. this is because if you hunt alot you have too shoot to unload each time. the force behind this bow will lossen the screws, nothin to it to tighten it up. the scope is awsome with the progressive, lighted reticles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by stashu Deadly to prey
Only just got to fire it today.Sighting it in.Make sure you have something like a burm of earth to stop the bolt.First shot was at a target with bales of hay behind it.At 20 yards it went through the bale like paper. Then I fired it with a burm behind thetarget.Scope was right on at 20 and 30 yards. This crossbow it what I was hoping for.Careful when shooting it,it is powerful and will be deadly to your prey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rick Barrnett has a customer for life
I bought this crossbow 2 years ago. It's a little heavy although the new model with the carbon limbs is lighter now. my first year I was hunting in a wooden box blind and was too close to the wall and when I shot at a deer the right limb of the crossbow hit the wall next to the window. The force of the limb coming forward damaged the crossbow. I called Barnett and they told me to send it back and they would see what they could do. About 2 weeks later a package arrived and it was a brand new crossbow. No invoice, no bill just a new crossbow. now, thats customer service. Barnett has a customer for life. I shot a 150lb deer last year at 20 yards, the arrow hit the shoulder, went through the deer and into the ground to the fletching, the deer ran about 25 yards and went down. The speed, power and accuracy is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by xbow crazy Great Start!
I am brand new to bow hunting and as an experienced gun hunter I thought a crossbow would be an easier transition. The Buck Commander is easy to shoot, accurate, powerful, and deadly! Assembly was easy and sighting it in took very little time. I can't wait to get in the woods and try it in the field.

Rated 4 out of 5 by The old dawg Prouct came with surprises
This is a well designed crossbow but came with a surprise. Although I have bow hunted for over 50 years I have never used a crossbow. Due to a weakened right arm as the result of a severe rotator cuff tear I decided to get a crossbow. The surprise? I did not have arm strength to load it and had to purchase a crank cocking device. The crossbow performs as expected...now that I can load it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MINI HAT Great crossbow package!!!
I bought this crossbow to have another weapon for deer hunting. I sighted it in and I am amazed at the speed and ease of use. This Barnett Buck commander crossbow package is a good product and the price is fare for what you get. You will have to get a target that can stop the bolt, most want, because of the speed and force that this bow is putting out. If you use a standard bow target the bolts will go thru it like butter. You must get a crossbow target to stop it.
