Rated 2 out of 5áby Not a 30 degree bag. This bag is basically good for car camping, or camping in moderate to warm conditions. DON'T TRUST THIS BAG IN THE COLD! I used this bag on a mountain top where the temps reached down to about 35 degrees and I nearly froze to death that night...quite literally. All of us had this bag and had to leave in the middle of the night because of it. I am an experienced hiker and outdoors-man and I thought I'd try this bag out because of its price. Don't buy it unless you'll be doing casual camping. If you're just doing something in fairly warm weather, it's great, otherwise avoid at all costs. January 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great bang for the Buck! Not a newbie to outdoor gear...blah blah so... This mummy bag is great for the price. Great features like the two-way zipper and it allows the footbox to be opened for ventilation. Velcro tab at top of zipper to keep bag closed when you are snugged in mummy hood. Also has loop at foot for easy hanging so you can dry it out fast. No folding over a line or limb. The Pouch- great feature for flashlight or valuables; easier to find then a tent pouch. Great bag for car camping in summer weather; easy to vent and with the mummy configuration it works when the mountain air gets nippy. Typical of any mummy its is cut snug. I'm 5'11" 200# and the bag is just right. If I paid 5x the price I would want: longer and lighter weight. But at this price point the Quest Eagle is a bargain on features and price. Sugestions: Cut all tags off and the packing loops (needless) Stuff the bag in the "stuff" sack. And if you want to be warm-strip down- DO NOT Sleep in a cotton sweat suit..... July 27, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5áby Not bad for the price you pay Decent for the price. Needed a cheap transitional bag as my son is growing fast, and he'll probably use this one on a few camp outs this fall and next for scouts. He outgrew his youth size bag when he shot up like a weed this summer. Once he's a little older and more mature, I'll buy him a more expensive sleeping bag, but this one should do nicely for a couple of seasons. September 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5áby Sleeping bag Sleeping bag was good during camping trip BUT tore when we washed it when we got home. Pretty flimsy. May 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby good sleeping bag easy to handle, easy to roll back and very comfortable bag July 2, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5áby Terrible product Me and my girlfriend purchased some of these to go camping in. I knew it was a cheaper bag however since we weren't going to be out in weather even close to its temp rating I didn't figure it would be a big deal, man was I wrong. For one, these things are SMALL. I am not a big guy by any stretch of the means and I had a hard time zipping it up. The zippers are horrible. Then, to top it off, the temp was in the low 50s but we ended up having to pack up in the night because these things were cold. We were using pads too! These would work fine for children in summertime camping but you can forget anything other use - spend a few extra dollars and buy a better bag. November 3, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5áby Quest Eagle Peak 30░ Mummy Sleeping Bag I bought the Quest Eagle Peak 30░ Mummy Sleeping Bag a few months ago, after using the sleeping back, with me being over 6 feet tall, the sleeping back was comfortable, and very warm. My only issue with the sleeping bag is that both zippers broke the first night that I used it, so I wasn't very happy with that issue, considering that the sleeping bag was brand new. April 16, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5áby Get what you pay for. Bought two, one for me and my son for Boy Scouts. I wear a 44R and can hardy move, used it four times and the zipper ripped out. My son fits better in his, he's between a 34R-36R but his zipper has started to ripp out too but not as bad as mine. September 29, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5áby REALLY skinny mummy-bag Did not look closely at the measurements of the bag before purchase. Although advertised as an adult-size, a grown man cannot fit into this bag. I am 6', 190# and I could not get in past my waist. I cannot vouch for the quality/warmth as I never got to use it. The crew at our local Dick's were great about returning it for a full refund, which made me very happy. January 29, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5áby Short People Only This is my first mummy style, so I have learned I toss & turn (roll over) too much for this type of bag. It is true to its word on cold weather; our first night dropped in the 20s but I was only cold where I could not close the head/hood enough. I am just under 6 foot, and my head was stretching the hood and my feet were packed in the bottom; this is not for tall people. I also had trouble getting it zipped up all the way once inside (I only tested it from outside the bag when I bought it). October 17, 2012
