Rated 4 out of 5 by Just Right These socks are great. You know why your buying wool. The cut is just right for hiking boots. July 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good but... This is a pretty good hiking sock but lets face it, the price is way too much for a freaking pair of SOCKS!! June 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by droopy socks Nice material, but the sock does not want to stay up around the ankles like it should. It wants to fall or slide down. It is not quite tight enough at the top. April 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hiking Used for change of socks for the 25th Annual Bataan Memorial Death March April 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Should Have Ordered More Perfect for long walks with the dog or workouts at the gym. Comfortable and they stay put. I expect them to outwear my shoes. November 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great socks Socks look good with lower brown shoes. Great for hiking boots August 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great socks Wore these with brand new hiking books. They were very comfortable even in hot weather. July 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by a sock is a sock except when its not a sock is a sock except when its not. why would anyone spend $12 on one pair of socks when you can buy multiple packs for half that price? because at the end of a hie you dont want your feet to be shreded and blistered i was skeptical when i bought my first pair of smart wool ultra light mini hiking socks but oh boy was i blessing you guys at the end of my 21 mile hike... the socks peeled right off my feet and what do you know my feet were intact.... i thank you from the bottom of my heart... and now ive gotta go and buy some more..... Rated 5 out of 5 by Great socks, not the best price Never bought merino wool socks before because they are so high-priced compared to other socks. But I have to admit, these socks worked great hiking 27mi over 3 days. They were comfortable and my feet didn't feel sweaty, even in waterproof hiking boots. I also bought another less expensive brand along with these, and they both worked equally well. As far as I could tell, merino wool is merino wool. The reason I paid extra for these is to get a shorter sock :-) just above the height of high-top hiking boots. June 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by hiking socks I love the Smart Wool socks...they are seamless, so there is no rubbing or pressure points. I have a small foot, so I like how they fit closely, without bunching or excess. I wear them most of the time, even with slacks because of the comfort. May 28, 2013
