Great product. Durable!
This is great for use as a punching bag, weapons training, and even for grappling or wrestling moves (when off the base)! Heavy duty and life size! I do recommend putting some type of covering on it (clothes), I think it will make it last longer. It is so life like, I still jump when I am not thinking about it and see it behind me!

Awesome
My two daughters and I love beating this guy up! We are studying 7 Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu, and they are only 6 and 8, so they can't really hold the practice pads while I give it my all on kicks and punches. This is also so much better than a traditional bag to me, because you know exactly where your kicks and punches land. Uppercut to the chin, kick to the head, punch to the abdomen, etc. Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. I have sand in mine, and usually use it in my garage which has a carpeted floor. I purchased a cheap handtruck to move him around easily. If we want to train in the driveway, I roll him out. If we want to train in the back yard, I roll him out, etc. My daughters renamed him though. His new name is Darthon Deathicon. Which aparently is a villainous character on a newer Scooby Doo.

Bob can take a beating
I've had Bob assembled and weighted for a couple days now and he provides a good alternative to a punching bag. The foam/rubber he's made of is solid and can take a beating, and his head has more give than the torso (as you'd expect), but is pretty solid too. One thing I really like about using Bob over a regular bag is that it helps me appreciate more how it would actually be to hit someone. I realize now that I've been punching more right to left on my cross than straight on. I've never realized that with a bag.VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READI dinged the product one star because I had a similar experience to the other reviewer. It appears that your order placed at Dick's is fulfilled by the manufacturer (Century) and there is some disconnect between their systems. My Bob also came without the base and I had to call Century to get one shipped. I even checked the MSRP (with base) at Century and it was the same as on Dicks, so I believe Dick's is supposed to be selling it with the base but the order goes through as just the torso. Dick's needs to fix this and I've contacted customer service about it. That all said, Century was pretty great about sending me the base at no charge. Just a bit of a hassle.
