Severe Torture
I bought these over priced slabs of plastic a month prior to a backpacking trip through Europe. I figured a month would be plenty of time to break in these abominations, I was wrong. Towards day 4 of the trip my main focus was buying new shoes or chop off my feet due to blisters and shooting pains going through my ankles.

Great Shoes
Love these shoes so far. Played a soccer game in the mud with them and they did the job (didn't have my cleats with me). Very comfortable and light and I look forward to seeing how long they last.

they will become your everyday shoe
At first they seem a lil funny in shape but I only take them off to sleep now. Awesome shoes.

Quick as a bunny!
These shoes were recommended to me by a fellow senior whom I met at a challenging Florida trail event. I know that I am not really faster but they are so light that I feel so. Made the gradual transition to "barefoot" style over a couple of months and they have done well for me at distances up to 20 miles. Tend to have a tight toebox and run half a size small but that has been worked out okay for me.

Another great shoe from Merrell
I was looking for a replacement for my well-worn Merrell MOAB hiking shoes when I tried these on in the store. Having had the MOABs for 4 years, it would have been easy to replace them with another pair of MOABs. The minimalist shoe intrigued me and they were much lighter than the MOABs. They fit well and I've been breaking in my feet and legs with the Trail Gloves slowly. So far, they have been outstanding - no concern with arch support at all. I'm glad I made the decision to go with the Trail Gloves.

Great Shoe
Love this shoe, feels good with or without socks, lightweight, great support, use for running errands and as bike shoes. First shoe I grab, (or my NB Minimus), when changing from another type of shoe: golf, tennis, yard work, dress.

Smooth Transition
I bought a pair of Vibram ISO shoes to begin making my transition to barefoot running. And they work well, despite the "odd" feeling of having something between your toes. The biggest downside to them was being "That Guy", as I am not big on drawing attention to myself. So, I picked these up for everyday use, and I must say that while they still look a little out of place, they are leaps and bounds better. I agree with the majority of barefoot runners that this will take time to adjust to, so don't try to "tough it out" because you will get hurt. But if you adjust to them through your day-to-day activity, it prepares you that much more to step up your speed/distance for your workouts. All-in-all, very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent minimal shoe
Im running in this shoe both on road and trail and have about 50 miles on them in about three weeks. This shoes is great if you're already running with a minimal/barefoot form. It's better on the road than any other trail shoe I've tried, but is a little low on protection for those running hard on very technical trail. Overall, it's a great multi-surface shoe, but you may want something different for really tough trails. Wear appears good, as I see no signs of wear at 50 miles.
