Comfortable, warm boot that fits
I'm so pleased with these wellie-type winter boots. They are sturdy, very warm and comfortable. I've had a terrible time finding any kind of waterproof, insulated boot that comes higher than my ankle because I have muscular calves and a high instep. Normally I have to stick to something low, and with laces (which let in snow and water) because I find anything this tall too tight and uncomfortable on my leg. With these Bogs, the neoprene top is flexible enough to make it easy to slide on and it fits snuggly but without binding. I also really like the "handles" on the side as it makes it much easier to pull the boots up as well as comfortably tuck in trouser bottoms. The bottom rubberized part is also a bit flexible, which is a plus, while the sole feels quite sturdy. Good for muddy walks as well as snow.
