Rated 5 out of 5 by A very nice L screen As a coach on a 10u travel baseball team we share a field and needed an L screen that was portable and easily stored. This screen fits the bill. The set up time and tear down are very minimal if I had to guess 5 minutes or less. The other coaches are no longer afraid of the line drives the boys hit when they had no protection pitching to them. The very first practice the screen stopped about 20 balls hit back at the pitcher. Our 13u team has also used it and had similiar results. The tubing is solid and easily snaps together and apart. The netting slides over the tubing easy also. If I had one drawback to the whole thing is the bottom of the netting. I purchased some velcro strips to attach the netting to the bottom tubing. With the netting being like a sock and it just slides over the tubing and just sitting on the ground at the bottom the hard grounders sometimes made it through the bottom to the backside of the L screen and although it slowed them down it still made it through. So if there was any improvement to be made it would be to have a way to secure the bottom of the netting to the bottom tube. Our team has been very happy with the L screen and would buy another one again. March 26, 2014
