I own a five year old truball release that the Velcro got weak and I replaced it with this one. I dislike the release, the trigger is now attached to a rope vs. the metal shaft on the older model. I find it hard to get the trigger into position to pull back the bow. It's like a limp noodle, very difficult to find vs. the old one that was on a fixed solid shaft. Not recommended.

I grabbed one of these when my tru fire release suddenly broke..only had about 50 shots with it.. So far I have shot about 300 arrows with this release and it works very well. The rope connection can be adjusted quickly and easily, and also makes it easy to stick the release down your sleeve when hunting.

The release seams to work find i am shooting 65lbs with no problems. The only negitive thing is the strap is a little small if you whear gloves or jacket. it barly makes around your wrist. otherwise a good release.

My old release recently broke and I went into Dicks for a replacement. I just could not bring myself to spend $100 on a release. I found this and thought I would give it a try. It is very responsive. Its also nice that it is flexible so it can be moved out of the way climbing up or down a ladder. Could not tell you if its gonna last, but seems very well put together.

This release was purchased for my wife, so I will relay her comments about the release. Comfortable fit and feels good on her wrist. The spring, open...close...open, took some getting used to, her old release locked open and you needed to close it by pushing the trigger forward. After a couple of shots she loves it nice a smooth. The corded adjustment makes for a custom fit, for any length fingers. I would buy another, and may switch to one myself.
