Bear Archery Youth Brave 3 Compound Bow Package 4.1 5 26 26
Very unhappy Dad!! Not a good buy!!! This bow is poorly made with substandard parts. It states on the box that you can adjust the draw length from 18-20 inches, which is a lie!!! It also targets children around age 7 or 8 and the draw weight starts at 15 pounds which when put on a scale the initial break over point is more like 25 pounds and my son cant even pull it back!! My son spent his own money that he had been saving on this bow and now cant even use it!!! I am trying to get my son into archery and he was very excited about it and now is very discouraged, thought i was buying a product with trusted "Bear" name but I guess not!! Very unhappy with the purchase!! April 17, 2013
Great product for young archers I am very impressed with the quality of this compound bow. January 15, 2013
good bow it is a good bow not so good arrows the back broke on the first three tries January 14, 2013
disappointed kids i bought this for my 8 and 9 yr old boys, and they cant even pull the bow back. took bow to local archery guy and he adjusted everything and the strings were super sloppy. we adjusted them to a safe tightness and checked draw weight which came out to 22 lbs. which the product says 15 -20 draw weight. we tightened them full draw and it measured 34lbs. so as for me i am a little disappointed because i bought this believing they would be able to draw it. over all its sturdy and kids think its sweet, they just cant use it! OK for the money The bow isn't bad for the price but when I decreased the weight for my 5 year old grandson there is alot of slop in the string. Over all not bad, he will grow into it. January 2, 2013
it 's awesome hi i love my bow and arrows! it's a reasonable price tat i payed for my-self December 28, 2012
broke Got for my 12-yr old son for xmas gift. The string came unattached on the second pull. Seems kind of heavy for a youth bow also. The minimal directions that come with it are not enough for a novice. It does not even explain fully how to assemble. Got this as kind of a happy medium between the cheapo kids bows and a 'real', more expensive bow. But in hindsight, probably should have just gone the cheapo route as a starter. December 27, 2012
High quality product I gave this to my 11 yr. old grandson for Christmas. He couldn't wait to open it and learn all about it. His friend has a bow and arrow set and he wanted one too.It is perfect for his age.U can tell it is quality and he expects to use it a lot.He has already tried it out in his back yard and is highly satisfied with it. Gift for my 12 year old This is not a toy! My son was initially disappointed that he couldn't just take it out of the package and send arrows flying. It needed some assembly, some instruction, some practice. While the arrows don't have a sharp tip, they are propelled with a lot of force and can inflict damage! I read several reviews on bows available, and spent a little more for this one for durablility and quality. I'll be replacing the arrows (one is already shattered) but the bow itself seems sturdy and well made. We'll have this for a while. December 26, 2012
LOVE IT! Bought this bow for "tater" the grandson for Christmas. Not sure who will be more excited: the grandson on Christmas or grandpa who seen the gift and wanted to play with it before the grandson! :) Thanks for such a wonderful deal! December 23, 2012
