Block B18 Black Foam Block Archery Target 4.2 5 23 23
Better than nothing I am replacing a black hole target. It was ok as long as I did not shoot broad heads. This target is a little larger and my son can shoot at it with his #25 lb bow. Easton fmj arrows remove easily but holes define toy remain. I have only been using this for 4 weeks, I'm not sure it will last to spring. Four hundred hits so far and I have to make sure and aim at different areas as it takes some time for holes to close. No broad head shots. I had finished my archery hunt and switched back to field tips. I went with this target so both my #65 and my sons #25 could shoot it. For what it's worth I would not spend the money on this target. I would buy a lesser target or more expensive. September 15, 2014
Awesome block Good value for what u get. I use one these blocks for the bow hunter saftey class I help trach. Compared to the others it is holding up much better. Yea the black will fall off but I just repain it it with black spray paint and its good to go again. I July 29, 2014
Great bow target I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but after reading the bad reviews left by a couple of knuckleheads that can't read what they are buying, I decided I needed to put in a good word for a target that has worked well for me. My first target was a Black Hole and I was very skeptical when I got a Block target for Christmas. I read every review I could because I didn't believe this target could withstand the test of time. Well, I took a leap of faith and kept the target. All doubt is now gone. I shoot both a PSE Brute X and a Mathews Creed at 70 pounds each. Often I shoot over 100 field point arrows in one session. Every time I shoot, I start off at 5 yards shooting with my eyes closed (for muscle memory) and still haven't seen chunks coming out of this target. However, I distribute my arrows around the target, in contrast to shooting in one spot (which is stupid unless you like buying arrows). Every once in awhile I will make a mistake an the arrow gets stuck in the edge and is tough to pull out. But other than that, every arrow comes out without any trouble or a puller. With that said, if you have an IQ above 75 and can read the details of the item you are buying, I would recommend this for anyone with a compound or traditional bow. May 8, 2014
best target I've bought Ive had numerous targets over the past 20 years and this one was clearly the best. Shot it daily, indoors starting in January 2013 when I bought it. Showed little signs of wear until I used broad heads in August/Sep. I estimate I put 4000 shots into over that time. Well worth the money January 11, 2014
It's everything.. It's everything they said it was and that's all I needed. October 9, 2013
Block Black 18" Good color contrast for concentrating on a small aim point. Handles the arrows very well. Easy to carry and seems to be of real solid construction. I thought it was a bit pricey but it's the first one I've ever purchased. Everything else I'd checked out just seemed like a real waste of money. Seems like I'll get some real longevity out of this one. June 18, 2013
Block targets get the job done I actually purchased the 22" block for a little extra shooting surface, but I have had it for two years this month. I never really shot many real broadheads into it, maybe 25-30 shots with rage 2 blades. I went to only practice heads when switched broadheads to save target life. I have shot holes through it on each of the sides but I like aiming in same spot so arrows go in upto fletching if I hit that spot now. It still stops arrows very well as long as don't hit it were holes went through, it is time for a new one but as much as I shoot I got my money's worth out of it. My setup is a 2011 PSE Omen Pro, 30" draw, 70 pounds draw weight, 412 gr. gold tip XT Hunter 75/95 chrono'd at 326 fps. This target can take some abuse, just remember that broadheads shorten the like allot no matter what target it is. February 2, 2013
Target is not what is is cracked up to be! Bought this target around 3 months ago. It was great for the first 100 shots and after that big hunks start coming out. I never even got around to shooting it with broadheads. I know after you spend a $100 on a target that no one wants to spend another $50 but trust me the Rinehart material is ALOT better and you WILL get the extra $50 out of it. January 29, 2013
good target This target is great at stopping arrows (I only used field points so far) January 2, 2013
Outstanding target for bow or crossbow. I used the target to sight in my 60lb drawweight bow and 150lb crossbow. The block took all arrows well with field points and broadheads. It was easily visible from 70 yards and able to stop a crossbow bolt at 10yrds. It is light-weight and easy to carry. Highly recommend this product. October 17, 2012
