Rated 5 out of 5 by Sparky78 More than 15yrs My parents bought me a very very similar JanSport bag when I was 15...1993. I had it through HS and College. I continued the abuse by using it as a beach bag and a tool bag I took frequently to a salvage yard...chock full of wrenches and pliers etc. This bag finally was put to rest just a few years ago. In the end this bag lived longer than 15 years. Its death was the plastic adjuster followed by ripped bottom strap and was still used until the interior compartments had been poached by my tools. RIP, will miss you old friend! PS. good Lord give us more colors! Mine was dark green w/suede!!!! July 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by DebB This lasts forever!!! I had this Jansport suede bottomed back pack that lasted me through 5 years of school so I bought the same thing for my oldest. He's had it now for 5 years and will probably make it thru college as well! Just bought two more for my 7th grader and 9th grader--they are amazingly tough! August 21, 2011

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bee Wren color great bag (pockets, laptop sleeve, etc), well made, love the suede bottom. however, the color online shows eggplant purple and the backpack shipped to me was fuchsia; still a pretty color just not anywhere close to what i expected. extremely disappointed. Rated 1 out of 5 by Gabby Picture above is not what product looks like... The picture here shows a deep burgundy colored backpack, what I received was a red backpack. The quality is fine, but if you are looking for burgundy this is not it. February 6, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by firefly4898 Great Product, Wonderful Quality! Love the quality of this product, JanSport always holds up to its name! Although in my opinion Dick's is one of the highest priced places to buy, we do love Dick's, but wished they offered greater savings & rewards more often, thanks August 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by JGalvan195 It will last forever I got this product after my sister recommended it to me. She purchased a JanSport backpack almost 10 years ago, and it's still in pretty good shape. After hauling it around for about 3 weeks, I can tell that this is a good quality product. The ONLY flaw is that it doesn't have a side pocket to hold water bottles. Otherwise, well worth the purchase. May 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Me Not Berry Good Love this backpack. In fact, bought it to replace same one bought decades ago in dark green. However, purple is NOT purple. Not even close. It is pink/fuchsia! The tag on the backpack even reads, "Berry." Don't want a pink backpack--so it's going back. :-( disappointed. August 10, 2013
