awesome product at a great price it is so easy to use, and works with standard 1 quart bottles that almost everyone has lying around. this is a must for emergency's, or long excursion into the wilderness, and it is a better option than iodine tablets that make water taste like [*]. May 1, 2012
SteriPEN delivers everything you need I have used SteriPEN on multiple hiking trips, and it always delivers without fail. It is lightweight and simple to use. This new unit with the prefilter is especially good if you do not have some other prefilter media. The only drawback is that the carrying case does not store the prefilter cap. It would be great to develop a carry case that stores all components. April 16, 2012
Must have for backpackers/hikers!! used this along with the prefilter and a Nalgene wide mouth bottle, prefilter gets rid of the big chunks and the UV light kills everything else. Great on our 4 day 82km hike around Killarney Provincial park in Ontario, Canada... light weight and easy to use makes getting fresh water fast and easy August 5, 2011
