Meh, some potential but runs WAY short in length.
I have to say that I was very disappointed with this jacket and surprised how short in length the body and sleeves ran for a men's large. I've rarely had a North Face jacket that doesn't run true to size in sleeve or body length, but this one does which is sloppy design and execution by TNF. Nice features otherwise, although the Velcro tabs are very stiff and don't feel like they would stay closed well.

Lightweight Waterproof And Warm

Excellent Product!
The North Face Plasma Insulated Jacket is everthing I expected. It is true to fit. The Prima Loft insulation is very warm. Hood is water Proof and warm. Nice loose fit, can rise my arms over head and the jacket doesn't ride up with them. Over all a very nice looking, as well as functional, and as well as fitting Jacket. Use daily very good value.

Perfect for Winter
I don't usually bother myself and leave reviews of anything I purchase but I must admit that this jacket is by far the best winter jacket I've ever purchased... The temperature is around 20s here in Maryland and this jacket does its job of keeping me warm. It will keep you warm even from icy chilling wind.. I've been wearing just a t-shirt underneath the jacket and still feel nothing but warmth... Waterproof? it rained hard last week and all I had was this jacket... AND when I spilled water on my jacket ...it pushed away all the liquid and didn't have to worry about getting this jacket wet. You can open your armpit zips if you feel little hot when you're inside helps a lottt ( you may feel little tight on your armpit cuz of the zippers but you'll get used to it)
FYI, if you are 5'5~ 5'10 then you must go for Small size unless you weigh over 170lbs... this will loook perfect small ... wearing this jacket bigger than ur size will make you look like you're concealing weapons or something...
This jacket sells $350 on TNF website but with 40% discount here at Dicks... you will get it for 190 including tax and that is a good deal on a jacket that will keep you warm in harsh winter cold GET IT!!

Plasma Jacket
I am very satisfied with the jacket, I was not expecting something so lightweight, yet so good at keeping me warm. I am very happy I got this jacket, with no complaints.

Best.jacket.ever.
The plasma thermal jacket is lightweight like a jacket but it protects like a coat. Wind and rain is no match against this beast and I would recommend over and over again. I just cleaned my closet out to replace many things. I did keep an ever lighter weight jacket for brisk mornings, however, this jacket is all I really need. This product came in time for my wife to ask me, demand rather, to inflate the tires in our vehicle in freezing rain with strong winds, VERY pleased with this jacket.
