Rated 4 out of 5 by Great spotting scope for the money Just purchased this scope at dicks sporting store took it out side and was reading a no parking sign from 250 yards away it is a great scope for the money people who are complaining have nothing to complain about. November 1, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Read the reviews! They're right. I should have listened to what was said in the previous reviews. If you plan on using it at 20x, looking at landscapes and birds and such - it's okay. But if you are planning on taking it to the shooting range, forget it. Anything past 100 yards is impossible to see even on high viz targets. Returned hours after purchase. Not worth it even at half the regular price. October 26, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by can't see target impacts at 100yds This scope is junk. I can't see my impacts at 100yds. What good is this thing? October 12, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't waste your money! I bought this scope to use with my son at the range. Shooting 50 yards using a .22 target rifle. The scope was a little blurry at 20X but not all that bad.. So I cleaned the lens, not that at appeared dirty mind you, and the view was the same. Upon increasing the power to 60x it just got worse and worse! No adjusting the focus would help one bit. The field of view had what I would describe as waves of distortion as you looked left to right through the scope. Again, no correcting it. Another guy at the range had the same scope and said he wished he had never bought it. He had the same problems... I only used it that one morning and promptly returned it that afternoon. My advise is to pass on this one, save your money for a better scope from a better manufacturer! Remember, you get what you pay for... Hope this helps someone.. September 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Buy I wasn't impressed by the rather thin constuction of the tripod that is included. However, the construction of the scope itself made up for it. Well made with very smooth optics. I highly recommend iit as a buy! September 26, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Low price and low quality What should you expect from a $80 spotting scope? My expectations were higher. Probably unrealistically high considering the low price. The scope works fine at 20x and 40x but is very difficult (impossible) to focus at anything above 40x. It works fine for targets up to 200 yards but you will struggle to see the holes punched in paper at anything farther. I could return the scope but would end up spending at least $400 for the scope and quality that I am want. Perhaps sometime in the future but in the meantime, this scope will work fine. Rated 1 out of 5 by like looking thru fog I always thought this looked a little fuzzy but while i was at the range i got to compare it with a cheep bushnell scope and the difference war night and day. The bushnell was so much clearer at 200 yards that i could see the 22 cal holes clearly and they were so cloudy with the barska that i could not see them all September 17, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy Way too much eye strain at even 100 yards. Was able to get a better picture of my target hits with my 3-9 ×40 scope than this scope. I understand it's not high end but it should at least be functional out to what it advertises... September 8, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by considered returning to the store The tripod that came with this unit is not sturdy and I had to tighten the screws up out of the box. The optical unit doesn't rest well either on the tripod. I will be using a different tripod that I already had. No issues with the optics. September 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for the price. Not top of the line though. This is a fantastic value for a decent product. It works as advertised. The field of view is quite limited at 60X. I would not depend on it being weather proof. Perfect for shooting range use, field of view too narrow for wildlife spotting. September 1, 2015
