good value
I would prefer the surplus GI issue mess kit but they are hard to find. For the price its really hard to go wrong with this kit.

works well but food will burn fast if not constantly watched.

Mess Kit Useless
The largest pan of set will not even hold two cups of water to cook a package of ramen noddles. Very cheap! We returned set to store!

Not bad for the price
Took the product with me on a recent 1-week trek up the Appalachian Trail. All in all the cookware was great, but the handle on pot wasn't very sturdy and the plastic top on it melted. Other than those two issues, everything else functioned properly.

cheap!
If you are looking for camping cookware, DO NOT buy this mess kit. It is very light weight and fairly compact. Once open, it is fairly stable on the stove. However, at the first contact with fire, you will burn whatever is in your pan. The metal is so thin you can bend it with your fingers. It is impossible to clean as whatever you cook you will burn. To clean this kit you will need sandpaper and steelwool! Also, the kit handle doesn't work well as a clamp. It doesn't slide open or closed very well. Once together, it is difficult to take apart and then difficult to get back together. When used as the handle to the frying pan, it is strong and stable but good luck getting the kit open without a hammer and chisel. There are much better kits out there than this one.

MY EYES
The kit works great, It folds up nice and small and cleans easily. My only problem is that the aluminum is so shiny it reflects sunlight like a mirror and it's hard to cook while being blinded.
