Form follows function, and these rests are built well to perform their simple function of reliably and steadily holding my rifle still as I shoot. Caldwell Dead Shot Used to test ammo for smallbore target rifle. Liked the price and the quick set up at the range. Does what it needs to do for testing of ammo. Sets up fast. Downside is it is not locked in anyway but that is what also like about it. Alows me to use some of my shooting epuipment with it in the prone position. Sling, jacket etc. June 7, 2012
