excellent puffy jacket
My 9yr old son wanted something warm and comfortable. Just as long as puffy jackets are in style this would defintely be a good choice. Warm, light and water proof to drizzles. It is a bit pricey compared to other brands, but it is TNF, so it is expected.

Sizing, color and warmth all VERY disapp
I ordered this coat in Conquer Blue. Instead it came in grey with a red & grey reversible plaid. That color combination is not even shown on this website (though I have seen it on others). I can't speak to the warmth of the coat but it seems pretty flimsy for the price-hard to believe it would keep my son warm enough even at the bus stop. It also runs VERY SMALL! My son is thin-usually medium clothing is way too wide for him but he needs the length in the arms & legs. This coat in medium just fits him around and barely comes to his waist. The sleeves just barely fit too. In a month it will be too short for sure. While it seems well constructed, I would peg it for a coat to be worn above 35 degrees. You would definitely have to decide if ordering up a size will fix the sizing issue. It sure won't for us.

Nice Coat, but, does not match picture !
Picture show a reverse side of grey plaid, but, the one sent is actually red plaid!! Gave it as a gift, but, was VERY disappointed in your service! Will likely never order on-line from you again!! Thank You!!

Exceptional!
I just purchased this coat for my 7 year old son. We both love it! This coat is warm, soft and not too bulky. He loves that it is reversible too. The quality and detailing are exceptional along with the fast shipping! I would order North Face from Dick's again.

Must have for winter.
This coat has all the warmth without being overly bulky. My 4 year old son loves it (and he is a picky dresser). He says it is comfy. The zipper is easy for little ones and the coat is reversible for extra style. This coat is excellent for cold weather and windy climates. It may cost more than some other coats, but is well worth it. My daughter has one too and it has held up beautifully.
