product defective. replacement unavailable
product was reasonably priced, in stock and shipped promptly. arrived defective with eyelet missing. returned free of charge. but, no longer had pair available in size wanted. apparently the boots i received were the only ones they had in my size. regretfully, i was told that they would not be restocked for about a year. would have been nice if they could have drop shipped them from manufacturer so i ddin't have to wait. needless to say, i went somewhere else to buy boots.

Great Boot
This is an excellent boot. Makes any hunter adaptable in all kinds of conditions. The first thing you'll notice when you pull them out of the box is that their rather light. The second thing you'll notice is how well they fit to your feet. The third this is the tread. These boots have excellent grip and give you an edge on a variety of surfaces. This is really useful for a stalk hunter such as myself, these boots give me the ability to be very stealthy through the woods. Another feature that I love is that my feet have yet to get cold. The Thinsulate insulation is a dream, light and warm. It upheld the water test flawlessly they even got rained on for an extended period of time and my feet stayed as dry as they were when they went in. I'm generally very picky about my boots. In fact it took me three years to find a new pair that I liked so, needles to say, I was nervous when I pulled them out of the box. In the end, my feet with the Danner Pathfinders has been a match made in heaven. The only test they have yet to pass is the test of time but, If you've ever owned a pair of Danner boots you know you'll wear out before they do.

Best Boots I've Owned
I researched tons of boots online and in stores before deciding on these. WELL worth the money. Danner makes a great boot. They were comfortable right out of the box. I've worn them on multiple upland pheasant hunts and just got back from deer hunting where I sat for 5-6 hours in temps in the mid-20's and my feet were comfortable and warm with regular socks. No real wet conditions yet but I'm sure they will perform great. Sizes were spot on to my normal shoe size.
