KEEN Women's Targhee II Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe 4.4 5 9 9
Great hiking shoe Needed good hiking shoes with good support that keep feet dry in light snow and damp weather these shoes work very well for this. March 7, 2013
Keen Hiking boots I bought these boots after my first pair wore out and I love them. I didn't have to breake them in. They don't rub in any spots and they last. February 12, 2013
The Cadillac of boots From the first time I put my feet in the boots they fell in love with the comfort. I have all the support I need and the fit couldn't be any better. December 27, 2012
Very comfortable boots haven't really had a chance to give them a workout, except on local hikes. But they are very comfortable and I could wear them right away - no breaking them in. I love Keen sandals and have several pairs, so I was pretty sure these would be too. I wear an 11 medium and can't always find boots that fit well, but these slid right on and I felt right at home. Great fit Boots are real comfortable-didn't have to break them in at all. No hot spots-good support. Only problem is plastic grommets-really? October 17, 2012
Rugged boot.. could use more padding I bought these boots for an upcoming backpacking trip and they were good for hiking. They stayed put on my foot and didn't slip and were very sturdy over rocky, uneven terrain. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, my feet were sore because there is no padding and its like walking on a wooden platform. I added gels and they still were wooden and stiff. A little disappointing as I was really looking forward to having these Keens. October 14, 2012
It's a KEEN - Well made, comfortable great uphill traction. October 1, 2012
Great Boot Fit comfortably even on my very wide feet. I actually did not have to buy a size bigger for width. Wore them on an easy 4 hour hike and they felt great. Waterproof, comfortable and light, just a great hiking boot. I am reserving one star because I can't speak to how they will wear, but hopefully they will last a long time, then I will gladly give them 5. September 10, 2012
Best for Wide Feet I bought these boots for light hiking. I don't hike often and wanted to get more active. I have two other kinds of Keens--the sandals (size 10 or 11?) and the low hikers (size 11). Both fit beautifully, so I thought I'd try the boots. I got a size 11 which is the same size as the low hikers. They fit slightly big. I have moderately wide feet and these are just a touch too wide. The length seems slightly long, as well, but the 10.5 was still too small. I found that if I sink my heel properly into the boot and lace very tightly that my heel doesn't slip going up stairs. Also the construction of the boot pulls the heel snugly into the boot without special lacing, like suggested on so many online videos. I added a very thin, spongy extra insert from a pair of sandals and believe this will assist the fit. The sole of this boot on the foot is harder and not quite as comfortable as the sandals, though, as my husband explained to me, you don't want a soft sole for hiking long distances. If you have very wide feet, I recommend this boot. Construction is very good and these will definitely be long lasting. Arch is fine--not noticeable. I have normal arch. August 5, 2012
