Rated 5 out of 5áby Simplu24 Great optics for the money I got the 4x12 because 3x9 won't fit over 270 win chamber unless u use offset rings. It was a little bit more than I wanned to spend but it 's worth every penny. Magnification is great, low light conditions-no problem. Bdc reticle works to. 5 inch group at 370 yards. Goodenaugh for me. Accidentally dropped the gun on the side and the scope stayed on 0. October 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5áby RangerSniper Dead on target. I have a nice set up on my M4. I do have military training and that helps to, but this site was a set up for my daughters M4, and when we went out to the range to get this sighted in, I must say I was blown away. I was her spotter and coached her way to having 12 rounds in a 1/4 diameter. Not bad, for a girl I told her but when we took it to the limit, she was hitting golf balls at 400meters...wow..with a wind of 4mph...she didn't have to adjust much. I wanted to push it even further and she had a 12inch shot group at 800....I kept on looking at my daughter who kept on asking me if that was ok, I just reassured her that it was ok and not to worry that they were so far apart. I told her with practice she would get better....NIKITA look out...we have a heavy hitter in our mist. November 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby te55mp Great Value I purchused two of these scopes to be put on on two Rem 700 30.06 rifles. first off it looks great, it is very clear and i love the longer eye relief. the drop compensation is very nice, and it is so bright and clear that i want to get a couple more to add to the rest of my long range firearms. Rated 5 out of 5áby 1 bullet13 A keeper this scope has great optics and tremendous light gathering capability. For a long range gun, who could ask for for. Price wise, middle of the road. Great for the average hunter. With 4-12x40 you'll see them clear, way before they see you. July 3, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5áby DaveOVB Not Sure Yet Bought this to put on a new 1500 Howa 25-06 - have been splashing around the target in 6" groups at 110 yds and don't know if it is the rifle or the scope. To be honest I have a higher end (if there is such a thing) 3x9x50mm TASCO on a TC Venture .223 that has more light and is crystal clear and I get sub MOA with that outfit, I am not sure the scope that cost 2 1/2 x as much is as good. I can't say anything bad about the scope but I can't think of anything remarkable either. A lot of other reviewers give it + for light transmission and brightness - I think they should look through a 50mm objective to see the difference. July 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby PR3 Great Scope For The Price Bought the ProStaff 4-12x40 BDC and am very happy with its durability and ease of use. The optics are very clear and the BDC is easy to use. This is the 3rd Nikon ProStaff I have purchased and all have been very reliable. Adjustments are easy and repeatable, these scopes also hold their zeros well. It is also nice to be able to go to Nikon's web sight to figure points of impact for the BDC. Paid $179.99 for the 4-12 on sale and worth every penny, I would recommend this model or the 3-9's too. Rated 5 out of 5áby losf69 Great scope I bought this scope in August 2011 and mounted it on my Browning Medallion .300 win mag. After bore sighting it, it only took me 5 rounds to sight it in at 200 yrds. Went to Quebec to hunt Caribou in September (2011) and dropped 2 big beautiful bulls. Since then I've used the gun to hunt deer here in NY without re-sighting in the gun. I just purchased a Weatherby Mark V .340 wby mag to hunt Alaskan Moose, Grizzly, and Dall Sheep this fall (2014). Yes I will be buying another Nikon 4-12X40 DBC scope for that gun. Excellent scope for the money!!! April 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby bowang prostaff bdc 4x12 excellent scope no matter what you think you have to pay to get a good scope. mounted on my 243 and holding a one inch group at 200 yards. :) November 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby DEERHUNTER7 Awsome scope and fast shipping I bought this scope for my 243 hunting rifle best purchase I have made for this rifle. The shipping was very quick.Another thing the glass on this scope is as clear as a scope that is 3 times a much. The only complaint that I have is that the scope is a little heavy for my gun but I can deal with that. This is a awesome scope and so was the price. Wish I had bought this scope a long time ago. Rated 5 out of 5áby Furrocka Great Buy Well worth it. I put this on my Remington 700 .308. Love it. And the SPOT ON program from nikon works good. Enough to get me on 12" paper at 600 yards. Looking forward to Hunting season with this gun and scope. September 9, 2013
