EXCELLENT PRODUCT
This is a high quality, easy to install barrel rest that works great in gun cabinets for short barrel rifles.

Its good
I purchased a gun cabinet that had cheap foam for rests inside. I decided to try this instead, because of the magnets, thereby not needing to make any permanent placements. The magnets seem to be very "heavy duty," and will stay in place on any metal surface. They are built with nice rubber lining in each of the placements, to prevent any damage. Overall I like the flexibility of placement and the quality of most of the product. My only complaint is that the grey front of the rest is plastic, and seems as if it could break.

Works Great...Looks Great!!!
Needed a support for my short guns in my gun storage locker. This was exactly what I needed. Otherwise I'd need to find a sturdy piece of foam, cut it to proper size, then find the right kind of adhesive to glue the foam to the back of my Stack-On metal storage locker.

Works as advertized
Works great if you have a metal surface to allow the magnets to hold it in place. I want to place if on a wood surface, magnets dont work on wood. This piece should have provisions for mounting on other surfaces besides metal.

Does what its supposed to do
Attaches firmly to any steel metal surface and holds the rifles secure with rubber notches for the barrels to rest on. Holds three rifles. Only issue with it is that if you have a rifle with a side attachment such as a flashlight, laser sight device or scope that is oversized there is not enough room for the rifle next to it as it is designed to fit rifles close together without any side attachments. Also if have a rifle with a raised front sight such as an AR15 the sight will hit the safe before the barrel hits the rubber rest. You have to pull the butt of rifle away from the rest and angle it significantly to clear the sight and get the barrel on the rubber rest. It would be more universal if it were wider and had more space between barrel rests and was a little longer off the wall to give more space for the raised front sight rifles. Overall if you have traditional hunting rifles with small scopes or no scopes this rest will work perfectly for you.

Lockdown Magnetic Barrel Rest by Lockdow
I have an older gun cabinet and the foam has fallen apart. I was looking for something to keep my guns separated.
