Rated 5 out of 5áby Very durable Pros - Extremely durable. I lived in a home with no central air. Used space heaters for heat in the winter. The highest temp in the winter was 50 degrees. In the summer I had a worn out air conditioner and temp around bike was 80 degrees. Used it like this for a year. Then I applied for disability and lived at my parents house. The bike got stored in the attic for 3 months in the summer where the heat got up to 160 degrees. I've had it five years now and it's still running strong. Strong, stable and precise. - Very quite .you can watch your favorite movies, read, or listen to your favorite music without noise from the workout. Others in your house or apartment won't be disturbed in the least. - Extremely comfortable. You get into a perfect exercise position shortly with the way the seat is. I have minor back curvature and this seat babies me. - Step through design. No more swinging your leg over a beam to get to exercise. Just slide it through the opening and sit. That is one less obstacle to exercising for me. - Does not use electricity except for very long lasting 2 AA batteries for the display console. You don't even need that if you use a stop watch. Good for the environment. This awesome machine will help you get the most out of it without negatively impacting others. - Strong, precision feel. Okay, a feel is not measurable but wow does it feel good to exercise with this at my load anyway. I set it to 4. It can go to 7. At seven its a real push. I'm 6'3 and have to push it. Not what I need. I just need settings 3 and 4. - Easy to move to another house. I moved and this bike fit in the back seat of my thin Toyota Corolla CE with room to spare. It comes apart in two and connects back again when you get to your new place. Cons - Programs don't vary resistance, you speed up and down as shown on the display. This is non issue with me, I'm burning calories and exercising I don't really need variable resistance. With good music or friends to talk to the time goes by. And the payoff is worth it! - heart rate monitor not accurate (but who cares, you need a watch with a chest strap anyway if you are a cardio patient). No heart rate monitor on any equipment even the $4000 Precor stuff at the gym is. If you are a cardio patient like I am you need a watch such as those Polar and Casio make and make sure they have a chest strap for the most reliable heart measurements. Heart rate monitor watches start at about $40.00 with a chest strap. Some of the more expensive ones have fitness workouts programmed in. You can set your low and high heart rate bpm on those watches. When you ride to slow or fast as recorded by your heart, the watch beeps to tell you to slow down or speed up. Good for staying in target zone when watching movies or reading. I'm riding my exercise bike 90 minutes per day. First my weight dropped 30 pounds over 3 months so I lost 10 lbs per month. This is at 900 calories burned per day, 10 calories per minute at my exercise rate where my heart rate is 100 bpm. I have a heart rate monitor ($30) that attaches to my chest and it tells me by heart rate is 100BPM when I'm cycling. I have marfans syndrome so I have to keep my heart rate at that when I exercise. On the bike this is almost a casual pedaling too 12 miles per hour according to the digital readout on it. Resistance is set to 3. You almost don't feel it but after 10 minutes you do on the front part of your upper legs. You wonder if you can go another 80 minutes but you can! I don't do it all in 90 minutes at a time, more like 20 minutes here 30 minutes there etc. The best part is that this bike does not need to be plugged into the wall to the environment is saved from my exercise. So is my electric bill. I use rechargeable batteries (AA) and have a solar battery charger that charges the batteries in a day of sun. It is very comfortable and if you set your back just so on the back rest you feel perfect and ready for exercise. It's best when using a pillow on the seat and a pillow on the back. Ride in luxury! UPDATE: It's now 2016 and the bike is still as silent as ever and still going strong since 2010 when I bought it. It has not developed any squeaking over time and the resistance is the same now as when I first started using it years ago. I haven't even had to tighten the pedals over all this time. This is a very hassle free bike and you can get a good workout on it. August 6, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5áby Came without any parts It came without parts and was sent to the vender. Waste of time. Returned it for a different one with assembly October 27, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5áby Very good product I've had the 4825 about a month. I use it daily and totally enjoy it. Very quite!' The one and only drawback is the seat could be made a bit more comfortable. However, I highly recommend it and it was relatively easy for me to assemble. Al October 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby This is an inspiring product I really like it, but I just got it. I have only used it twice, and I don't understand everything about the computer. June 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Perfect piece of equipment I found this to be easy to put together. Easy to handle- very quiet to operate - perfect for a small apartment. March 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby This bike is awesome! I was leary to order a piece of equipment without having seen or testing it first. But, I read the product specs and it sounded right for me. It was delivered to my doorstep within 5 days. It was easy to assemble (about an hour) and works perfectly. It is exactly the way it was described and works perfectly. It is also noiseless which makes it easy to watch TV or listen to music while pedaling. I love it!! March 10, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5áby Very basic The bike was delivered on time and placed inside my house. The bike was a Christmas present for the family. Opened box on Christmas day. The multi tool provided was very cheap and hard to use. The instructions were a little unclear but I was able to put bike together. Once everything put together realized the electronic component has a short in it and it doesn't work. December 27, 2014
