Rated 4 out of 5 by mikek73 Very Nice Harness
This harness has some heavy duty straps and buckles. How can this heavy duty harness be so light. This harness only weights about 2 1/2 pounds. Only negative I could find with this harness is I would like to see a pouch added to be able to store the tether straps. Otherwise this is a nice comfortable safety harness.

I have been using the HSS Ultra Lite for two weeks now. I use it along with the HSS Life Line system. This is the most comfortable and easy to use harness I have ever owned! I use this to hunt from my lock-on stand and I have security from the time I leave the ground until I return back down my ladder. The harness is very comfortable, I sit in my stand for 4-6 hours at a time on the days I hunt. It does not interfere with bow hunting, muzzleloading or gun hunting. Used the deer drag attachment for the first time and it was great. I had to drag about a 150 lb buck 125 yds and down a bank, through a creek and back up the other side. Could not believe how much easier it made the recovery process. Also figured out the harness worked well to pull my deer cart. This is one of the best hunting purchases I have made in a while!!!

This harness fit great, was very comfortable, and easy to adjust. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to be safe and comfortable in their stand. I have gone on four all day hunts so with no issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Martoon77 A Great product
Was looking for a better harness and considering a vest-style harness when I saw this Ultra-Lite Harness by HSS. More versatile than a vest since it is easy to wear over warm weather clothes AND UNDER COLD WEATHER GEAR! I read all of the instructions and warnings and was pleased to learn that this harness comes with everything: harness, tether, tree strap, carabiner, secondary tree strap and climbing belt. I only wish the straps were brown or grey so they wouldn't stand out so much when worn over your camo clothing.

by TheRealBrocephus Great Hot Weather Saftery System!
I bought the Ultra-Lite system for Archery Season here in GA. It can get up towards 90 degrees. I already have the Pro Series HSS, but it's very HOT in the early parts season. This is a great "alternative", even though I might just wear it all season!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tree-stand Bow Hunter poor quality
The front buckle broke the 1st time being used. I returned it and was replaced with a exact one..Finished my hunt and went to remove buckle and it broke again. Third time and same thing. This time I removed the broken buckle and replaced it with a caribiner. . The leg buckles are made from metel while the front chest buckle is made from very very cheap plastic which will definitly break in cold weather or over time. I wrote my complaint to Tree stand safety and waiting for reply. Other then the cheap plastic buckle harness is very comfortable with easy on and easy off..but makes you wonder how and why a "SAFETY HARNESS" has plastic buckles that will for sure break..

Much better than other's I've used. Quick, quiet, lightweight, and the leg straps don't slide down my legs while I'm walking to and from my stand. So glad I finally broke down and bought one!!!

This is my second harness from HSS. Easy to put on and take off. Comfortable. This model does not have pockets, that is the only thing I don't like about it.

This vest is comfortable and sturdy. Two things that are important to me.
This model does not have pockets in front. Other models do. but this model still get's the job done well.
