Re-designed, the HME ® Products MAXX ™ Hoisting Rope features a plastic sleeve with reflective wrap for covering and protecting the clasps. You can locate your treestands in the dark better with the 1 1/2" orange reflective tape. MAXX™ Hoisting Rope is 25 feet long and features the heavy-duty carabiner-style hook. The carabiner hook avoids bow string or bow finish damaging with the hang area being dipped in PVC.

bad snap
the rope is fine but the clasp snap stinks.

Does it job.
I would have rated this hoisting rope higher if the spring that is on the hook closure worked better. I was using a climber and went to hoist my bow up,and it came off the hook. When I climbed back down the hook closure was stuck open. I now push it shut everytime I hook something,

Thicker Rope!
Bought this rope because it is thicker, makes it easier to pull up heavy loads(pack and bow). Nice reflector on the ned to help find in the dark

Hoist rope works well
I normally just use a regular rope as a drop rope from my tree stand. This cost a little more than just rope but the clip works well for pulling up my bow and disconnects quickly, no problem in the dark on those chilly pre-sunrise mornings. No untying. I haven't used it to pull up a rifle, and am a little more leary of using the clip for that...I will probably tie it on for a rifle. Overall a decent product. The orange on the end is nice to help see it in the dark when you first get to your stand before first light.
