Okuma Celilo Just bought the 6'6 UL the other day and took it out to the lake for some trout fishing. Great action and very easy casting!!! I am very impressed and will probably grab another one of these rods for another one of my reels. May 24, 2012
Okuma Cililo Steelhead rods Use these surf fishing up on Lake Superior for steelhead and coho. These replaced rods that were just to stiff, these show strikes well and perform well when tossing a 2oz. weight and a 3' leader with spawn when your way out in the surf. These are the spinning 8'6" models and I use salt striker bait caster reels on them with fire line now. Switched from mono and no wear on the guides that I can see after 4 long weekends of nonstop spring steel head fishing. These are the medium action, you may want med/heavy or heavy for river fishing for 12-20 # fish. We're landing 4-10's and these rods make hooking up and playing with tail dancers fun. April 24, 2012
