What a great value.
My wife's 12 year old Shimano Sahara spinning reel bit the dust, so I needed to replace it. This reel was half the price of what the Sahara cost 12 years ago, and it is at least as good. Ultra smooth and very powerful. My wife loves it, I love it, and I am buying another one to replace my old Shimano. You cannot go wrong with this reel, especially if you catch it on sale. Highly recommended !

Catches fish
I have used okuma reels for a few years in the freshwater and the salt if you are looking for an in expensive reel that will get the job done pick this one. Load mine up with a 20lb power pro top shot and go fishing . Great trout reel. The frame isn't the strongest but it will land redfish. They last about 3 seasons depending on how often you fish and your idea of maintenance.

Value and Performance
Excellent value for a quality reel. Light and smooth. Bought the cs-35 for bass fishing and the cs-55 for inshore. Highly recommend.
