GoFit Bob Harper 45 lb Contour Kettlebell
Pavel Tsatsouline would not approve
Pavel Tsatsouline would not approve because it is a contoured vinyl covered kettlebell made somewhere not in Russia. While he may not approve my forearms definitely do. The contoured shape also helps keep the center of gravity more inline with the forearm during cleans, get-ups and full swings. If you're looking for a 45lb kettlebell and don't mind the extra money that this one costs, I HIGHLY recommend it.
I took 1 star off because it is more expensive than standard vinyl wrapped 45lb kettlebells.

Thats One Hell of a Kettelbell, Son
I was ready to upgrade my 25LB kettlebell and had a Dick's gift card. This was the largest available kettlebell on the website, so I decided to go for it. Haggled with local store manager and online customer service to honor the free shipping deal they were running that week online (Dick's apparently does not do ship-to-store orders from their website, for some reason I was never able to ascertain). Received free shipping to my home. I did not know who Bob Harper was (nor did I care) when I ordered the item. The included "Bob Harper Kettlebell Basics Body Shred Workout" DVD was largely comedic in nature and provided little in the way of useful instruction for someone like myself who is using A 45LB KETTLEBELL!! I mean, a 45LB kettlebell should at least have come with an Intermediate or Advanced DVD. But, ultimately, whatever. Not that important. Now as far as the product is concerned, this is a great kettlebell. Well constructed, fully padded, properly weighted, and obviously built to last for many, many years. The contoured design is a SUPERB idea and makes any sort of exercises involving the forearm much easier and safer. This design is a lot less likely to injure the forearm/wrist area and makes for a lot less jarring impact during complex kettelbell routines. It is just a much better shape than the typical rounded kettlebells on the market. Bottom line: If you are seriously into kettelbell training and want a very heavy kettelbell with solid construction and a vastly improved design, this is the one for you.
