Rated 3 out of 5 by TVW59 Lightweight and compact. Really lightweight. The reel almost has a fragile feel to it. Not one I would use for general ice fishing, but good for sunny's and crappies. January 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by beagledad great value I bought Fuel Ice combo 3 years ago. Used it on Smelt, then came trout season and I put the reel on an ultra light pole; It worked beautifully, for two years I have used it to catch native Brook and stocked Brown and Rainbows. The stocked fish are usually 18 to 22 inches. This little reel performs like a champ. The only little problem has been maybe 1 out of ever 150 casts the bail won't flip over all the way. I fish every day for 2 solid months, caught and released well over 350 fish. Buying another combo for back up. March 19, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tom New is not better I have one of these combos that is 5 years old and doing fine. It is my favorite ice combo. I just bought 2 new ones. The reels are much cheaper. One had to be replaced because the reel handle would not assemble correctly. Then, just after a few hours of fishing, the replacement reel fell apart when the screw holding the bail in place fell out. Getting this combo replaced seems to be an issue. That is a work in progress. February 6, 2014
