I put this scope on my Browning .308. Dicks boresighted it for me but they were WAY off. Not the scopes fault obviously, just thought I would throw that in. Took more rounds than usually necessary but after I got it dialed in I love it. Zeroed it at 200yds and the next day I was hitting milk jugs out to 500 yds. The acu-reticle makes it very easy to adjust for known distances. Excellent light rentention late in the evening as well and you cant beat the warranty. For the price Im extremely happy. Just save the time and bore sight it yourself

My Redfield scope is manufactured as a susidiary of Leupold and is munufactured with the same proven quality optics and ruggedness in the field as I would expect from my rifle scope. My scope is mounted on a Winchester model 670A 30-06 and and with aid of this scope gives me impressive consistant group at 200 yards. Overall I would have no problem recommending this scope to any serious hunter.

For the money, this scope is great. It has great clarity and a good zoom. The accu- range reticles perform pretty good too. One of my favorite scopes

First, I was sent a link to review the scope I bought but it's no longer listed on the sight. I'm only doing the review on this one because the only difference is the power. I bought the 3-9x 40 with Accu-Range recital, not the 4-12x. I sighted it in finally and was amazed at how close it was already. 2 rounds at 25 yards and I was on paper nicely. At 100 I screwed up. I made an adjustment, both windage and elevation (sight in 101 mistake #1-adjusted both at the same time) and when I was off, I realized I adjusted in the wrong direction (sight in 101 mistake #2-didn't take notes on what I changed) I did the best I could from memory and got it back but by then had to switch ammo (sight in mistake #3-changing ammo) but got a good consistent group. As for the scope itself, it's amazing how much light it pulls in. I played with it in dark of night and saw things detail at 30 yards that I couldn't see no matter how hard I tried with my bare eyes. It's very clear and crisp rivaling scopes double and more in price. It's very clear and clean, mechanically very solid, easy to adjust with finger adjustable turrets and all around very solid. I think Leupold is trying to get a big piece of market share of that $300-$600 scope market with this new Redfield branded line priced in the dirt!! Being made on the line with Leupold, well you put 2 and 3 together an compare with Leopold branded scopes in the <$500 range. You'll be all over these scopes! And you can't beat the warranty and service which is the same as Leupold!!
