Nice jacket overall Good looking jacket....does its job and protects my husband while our during rainy days...it's a nice weight, being very lightly lined but still usable on warmer days. It's not a rugged jacket for avid hikers who will be out in the rain for hours or for harsh storms, but is great for a normal rainy day. The cut is nice, a bit fitted but not tight. The length is good, but if you are very tall, try another jacket. My husband is 6'2" and it just reaches the hip. We both like how attractive and masculine the jacket is for a rain coat....he is not embarrassed to wear it like other coats...worth the money, but would not buy if any more expensive. Great coat I purchased this jacket for two reasons. One was that I wanted a coat I could zip my TNF Down Vest into and make a warm winter coat out of it. Standing out waiting for the train the last couple of days has been much easier now that I have a warm but not heavy winter coat. The other reason was I was looking for a great jacket to wear in the spring when it rains. Last week it was 45 and rainy and the coat was perfect. I was warm and dry without having a heavy or bulky coat on. I could not be happier with my purchase. March 13, 2013

Great Jacket! If you already have a zip in compatible North Face fleece, like the Denali, this is a must have! It fits perfect, not too big and not to small. I just wore it through a 20 inch snow storm, with a Denalie fleece zipped in, and was warm and toasty the whole time. When it warms up this will be a great windbreaker or rain jacket. The material feels much more durable than gortex and you can remove the hood if you dont need it. February 28, 2013
Poor but to the standards of North Face. It was basically a 200 dollar wind breaker. Not worth the money unless you live in a moderate environment. If it gets below 45 degrees with any wind that would rustle more than just leaves around than your miserable! Its basically is a jacket for warm weather environments, hence the pit zips in a jacket. Why would you be sweating only if you wore it in a warm weather environment. Which I don't do I wear "jackets" in the winter cold months and sweaters and wind breakers in the cool months. The warm months we all try to get away with as little clothing as possible. I rest my case... February 22, 2013

would buy it again at store the coat was sent without a lining-we didn't even realize it but returned it because it was too thin-the Nashua NH store graciously accepted it back and was given a different coat. December 17, 2011
