Arctic Ease Cryotherapy Wrap 3.9 5 13 13
Worked great I suffered 'golfers' elbow my first outing this year, after trying every product on the market, biofreeze, icyhot, ice packs, etc. A friend of mine told me about the Arctic Ease wraps, I ordered one and to my surprise they work. I am now able golf again and will be using the wraps again when needed. March 7, 2013
Ok- ish? probably not worth the money This is an interesting product. It's basically an Ace bandage that's been treated with some kind of chemicals. It is not as thick or sturdy as an Ace bandage though and doesn't provide very good support. It's treated with some kind of gel, but the package doesn't tell you what? It's supposed to be non-toxic, but the warning label says if you ingest it to contact the doctor. The gel dried after wearing it for about an hour or so, and left little flakes on my skin and chair (I had it wrapped around my knee). It does make you cold, but it's not as cold as ice. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. February 18, 2013
Works perfectly, allowed me to stay on t Bought one of these to take on a hiking trip, its lightweight reusable and ez to carry in a backpack. On the trail, suffered a small twist of my ankle, that started to swell up almost instantly. Pull this wrap out, wrapped my ankle, and was able to keep hiking. When we reached the summit, took a look at my ankle and amazingly all the swelling was gone. This wrap provided both cold and compression in one, I will be using these on all my hiking trips from now on. Buying a few more for the kids to keep in their gym bags for soccer and football games. Ineffective This product comes in a package with a gel-like coating. The directions on the package are not elaborate, but basically you wrap the inflamed area (elbow, knee, wrist, etc.) and the gel-like coating is supposed to be an adhesive so it sticks together and stays on. The product is then supposed to act as a cooling agent to help reduce swelling. In my case, I wrapped it around my knee. The gel did not stick so I had to fold it to make the wrap stay on. I did feel the cooling sensation for approx. 20 minutes or so, but it was not nearly as effective as an ace bandage and an ice pack. I also did not think the wrap itself was very quality, it was almost like a nylon material and it hardened after use which made it difficult to wrap it up and store it for re-use. July 29, 2012
A waste of money the pack could not reseal good, the cold does not last long. does not have a good to hold a firm grip. May 12, 2012
It works I was given an Arctic Ease wrap by a relative, recently I started running again, nothing big 3 miles at a time to get back into shape. I aggrevated an old knee injury on a run and thought I would be out of commission for a few weeks. I remembered the wrap I was given, wrapped my knee up and was able to stay mobile unlike being stuck sitting and holding an ice pack. Best of all I was pain free the next day and out training again. I would strongly recommend this product to everyone. February 27, 2012
Speeds recovery No better way to recover from a hard workout or boot camo. The wrap took away my pain in minutes. February 10, 2012
Better than ice and an Ace Bandage I was able to use an Arctic Ease cold wrap, dress for work and keep moving. I wore the wrap under my work clothes for about 3 hours and was pain free! The stiffness in my knee was gone for over 3 days afterwards. NowI use a wrap every 2-3 days for about 3 hours at a time. December 30, 2011
Love this stuff! I ordered some blue wraps direct from the company since Dicks only carries the white wraps. The wrap worked great for my calf pain. I had tried everything from ice bags to menthol creams and nothing worked. Ten minutes with the Arctic Ease wrap on and I was pain free. The best part was it was reusable so I now use it whenever I work out to take away any aches and pains I have. Its not as cold as ice, its very comfortable to wear and it stays in place. Worked great I was told to buy an Arctic Ease wrap for a sore calf that was stopping me from being able to bike or walk any great distance by a friend. I am glad they recommended this product, it worked great. I was pain free and able to walk distances and biking again in less than a day. I would recommend this product to anyone. November 25, 2011
