Good Skates. The sizing chart recommended a 8 whereas when it came in I needed a 9. So, if you go by the sizing chart that indicates that you should get one size lower than your shoe size, don't go by that. It is your shoe size that you indeed need. I had to go the local store and return mine which was a little inconvenient but nonetheless, I like the skate's at the right size.

Hockey skates
We live in a small town, and my son needed new hockey skates. In order to get decent ones, we would have to drive 1-2 hours away. We were able to find the ones he wanted on the Dick's website. I was so pleased that they arrived in 2 days, and shipping was free!!

Quality skate for the money
I have'nt had them that long, but have played 4 mens league games in them. They are very comfortable - I have had NO pain at all which is rare (I have a narrow foot). They are VERY stiff skates and take a while to flex out which is bad at first but beneficial when worn in. Make sure to have them baked a couple of times and try to beat them up before and between uses. They have great energy transfer and offer what appears to be great protection from shots althought I have'nt had a good one off the boot yet. A great skate for a competetive hockey player. Do yourself a favor and get waxed laces to help tie them tight over the stiff ankle.

Great skates for a grat price!
I've been teahcing my 4 year old how to skate and the rentals at my local rink were junk. After looking at the various levels of Bauer's Vapor models, I felt that the Vapor 4.0 was a great buy for the money. It offers great protection, comfort, and speed, all in a light weight package. When I'm not skating backwards looking at my son pushing the milk crates, I can really fly around the rink. I'm no Pro, but when I get back into pick up leagues, the Vapor 4.0 will have me prepared!

they are very good skates fit really good to your foot . they havent let me down yet good for your money.
