Rated 4 out of 5áby Perfect for what it does. This is the perfect machine for somebody with limited space but wants to get some work in. I bought this along with a net and set it up in my basement. My son uses it every night. The Catapult machine does a soft toss with the ball and my son can sit there and take swings. This is NOT a pitching Machine. That's why they call it a catapult. I saw another review that said they were disappointed. Clearly they don't understand the word catapult. Absolutely perfect machine to keep your hand eye coordination in the down months without the need for a big batting cage or a real Pitching machine and spending 10 times more. The Catapult also tosses Real baseballs and not plastic balls. So my son gets the full effect of hitting the ball. December 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5áby This is a soft toss people....read! One of the best purchases I've made!! I wanted something for my son to use solo and something that was easy to transport. The only downside to this machine is that It only holds 8 regular baseballs. Great training tool and works perfectly. A+++++ February 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Skilz baseball Soft Toss.... Instant batting cage!!! Also a way to work on bat speed and make the winter a little shorter!!! November 19, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5áby Poor Quality I was very disappointed...the feed was very poor quality plastic and didn't last 10 minutes. The actual catapult itself was good...but you might as well toss the balls yourself if the feed doesn't really work. January 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby It's a great product but It's a very good product but I thought it could do pop ups it's mainly for soft toss. Then this product did good. March 1, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5áby Terrible product I have many SKLZ products and was very disappointed with this item. My Juggs soft toss after 5 years went out on me, and so I decided to try this one for my 6 year old son. I returned it the day after I got it. The whole afternoon two balls kept falling into the toss machine and kept getting stuck. Very dissapointed. November 18, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5áby Disappointed! Stopper did not work, therefor more than one ball would drop at a time and clog shot. Both with regular baseballs and wiffle balls.Returned to store. July 18, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5áby Too soft of a toss! This didn't hardly toss the ball at all. It would only be good if you were trying to teach someone to swing at their knees. I exchanged at the store and the next one had the same problem. July 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5áby Slightly dissappointed - even for it's intended purchase I bought this machine planning on using it for batting practice with my 11-12 year olds. It took me a good while to figure out how to get this thing to throw strikes, but when it's going it's kind of effective. However, it is somewhat cheaply made and has taken some damage from kids not making great contact with the ball - although I will admit it may be my fault for putting the machine at an angle not suggested for use. Overall, this thing already has taken some cracks. It's useful, but I see myself needing to go with an alternative soon. P.S.: I definitely don't see how this thing could launch pop-ups for fielding practice. The balls do not launch far AT ALL. April 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby The Hit of Christmas EVE Bought this for one of my 6 year old grandsons. It was opened on Christmas eve when his twin and his two cousins ages 6 and 8 were there. They spent the next 2 hours playing with it. It is perfect for this age group as it is more of a slow pitch. It also can be used to field grounders. A great product for the price, so far.
