waste of money
This product is poorly designed. It's supposed to help you pull the laces of your skates tighter, but the hook is angled such, that it slips right off. I went out to my garage and made a far superior one out of a t-hanndled allen wrench and a torch. It took about a minute and a half, and it does what it's supposed to. Seriously, doesn't anyone test these products? Don't even bother with this piece of junk

Great Idea, but doesn't work
This is one of those great ideas... that just doesn't work. The idea, of course, is that the end hooks onto your laces and then you can pull -- except that the hook is not enough of a hook, it is simply a right angle.
Given the shape of the hand grips it causes the puller to rotate up as you try to tighten your laces. Because their is no 'hook' the end just slips off of the lace. I thought about trying to grind more of a hook onto it, but it probably just too much work for what it is worth.
This one will get thrown in a junk drawer as a lesson to me that reading reviews before buying really is a good idea.

solid built poor design
it's built great will last a lifetime however the hook to catch lace is to short and won't actually pull my laces. i have Bauer skates with original laces any product should be able to do these.

not worth the money
I thought buying thus lace puller would be easier for my 12 year old to use, but we both find it difficult to get the rounded hook under the thick wax laces to get a good pull. The cheaper thin metal hook style, seem to work better.

Not the greatest
This lace puller does a poor job when used the way it shows on the packaging. I have to flip it around so my fingers are on the clip rather than the finger notches for the laces to stay on the hook. This makes it awkward and uncomfortable to use. I know someone who uses the A & R Lace Tightener and it works much better in addition to being cheaper.
